Such a great present for new borns!
Well, this has got to be the best use of a fiver I've ever spent! As soon as I got it out the box my little girl (who was about 3 months old) stared at it and wanted to grab it! It's her favourite toy at home, had so much abuse from all the pulling, scrunching, chewing, throwing about, etc and it still looks good. She loves the bright colours and the different textures on the toy, very good for her developmental skills. The back of the wings are patterned black and white which she will happily stare at for several minutes. Because it's so brightly coloured it helps her with her hand-eye coordination with grabbing certain parts. A must-have for any baby, both me and my daughter love this toy and so glad I bought it. The best part for me is that this toy can be put in the washing machine - so convenient as it gets so much use it's starting to look a bit iffy but a wash will bring it straight back to life. A month on and she is still as much in love with it as before!Lamaze toys are good for babies as we bought the cone one with a mirror and soft handle on it and she loved that too but this toy gets so much more attention now!

My 3mo’s FAVOURITE toy
My 3mo has loved Freddie since she got him at 2mo. She loves that he jingles and crinkles and she easily grasps all of the rings and wings in her hands, as well as the dangling teether and little legs. There is so much for her to grab and play with in one toy and the noises are really helpful for her to recognise her motor skills in action. She obviously can’t press the squeaker but she enjoys the noise when we press it.The black and white pattern catches her attention and I love that it has this contrast as well as the bright colours. The different textures are also a nice touch and despite it being large comparable to her (she is a big baby at 6.9kg for 13 weeks), she gets a lot of enjoyment from handling it.Her eyes light up and her mouth opens when Freddie is brought out and she will happily watch him “flying” around and listen to the noises even when not playing with him herself. She absolutely adores this toy and I’m so glad I bought it. There is plenty for her to bite, chew and lick (her current favourite hobby) and I’ve since ordered two moreLamaze toys: Jacques and Captain Calamari. Can’t wait for her to enjoy them! She does have the puppy, which looks simple in comparison, but she loves to handle and lick the fabric, chew on the bone and crinkle and chew its ears. Great toys and very happy with the purchase. If someone I know has a baby, I will be getting them a Freddie the Firefly!

Lamaze are fab!
Lamaze sell great quality baby toys. They're easy to use and connect to the pram, car seat etc. Small enough to pack away in the pram or nappy bag too and my little girl was easily entertained with this at 5 months old on the plane. Worth the money to keep little one occupied. Good functionality and easy to clean in the washer on a cool setting.

Very nice toy !
Lovely bright colours and lots to engage little one. I have an under 3 month old and they enjoy looking at this/touching it so far. It’s Ideal for on the go and easy clip on and off.

Has been my baby’s favourite toy from birth (nearly 1yo now!), I always buy one for every friend who has had a baby since!

Perfect for keeping baby happy and entertained.
Freddie is a huge hit with our 9 month old grandaughter. So much so, we got Alt Freddie with a sucker base for the high chair and then two more Freddies for other recent babies amongst friends and family! Everyone is a hit! Well made, lots of different shapes, colours and textures, perfect for the inquisitive baby. Great value, lots of fun!

Second time buying!
Lamaze toys are always a hit with my little ones, this is the second one purchased, first one was for my little boy and second one for my little girl.It's really versatile so allows baby to grab it, can attach it to pram, chairs etc to take around. The range of textures, noises and colours is stimulating with a very cute design and loved by baby.
