Great Mixer for Mini Synths!
I bought this mixer for my 6 Volcas. since the official 'Mix' that was released (Mixer) bizarrely has only 3 inputs- for what reason I do not know. This mixer of course only has 5 inputs, but I have a Mini Korg Pandora for Rever and it has a 3.5mm Aux socket so I can route any 2 Volcas through a single channel (one through the FX input and one through the Aux socket). This turned out ideal, since I was just about to buy a full size bigger mixer to connect all 6, since splitter cables caused loss in volume. The build quality os good and the sliders are of medium resistance and slide well with no lateral wobble. The knows are very shallow. Whilst this adds to the aesthetic of the design, it's difficult to get a grip of them with the fingers. Sound quality is crisp and clear and sounds no different from connecting devices directly to an output.Gain controls are handy if you want that extra boost, though naturally if you go to o far you'll get distortion true to gain.I fully recommend this mixer, especially for micro synths such as Volcas since it's entirely functional and doesn't take up much real estate. Having small synth units and having a huge mixer is just defeating the purpose!Just don't depend on the 'Loop' function of this mixer. A lot of people don't even know what this actually does. It simply allows other mixers to have independent control of the sound source thats sent to them. It doesn't allo wyou to add several mixers for extra channels. What's more, I don't even think that the special 'Loop' cable has even been released yet after a number of years....Forget the 'Mix' by Korg and get this. If not, get the next up model of Maker Hart mixer and score yourself 8 channels!..

Apart from Output volume this is a great little mixer
Great little mixer, but ouput volume levels are not as high as I would have liked. Just about does the job in a very neat way.

Great Little Mixer
Ridiculously good for any money. So small! Fits on the base of my 21" monitor. I mean, it's only 6.75 inchs wide by 5 inches deep yet it takes 5 stereo inputs! Sound quality is very good and it comes wth the DM2S adapter that takes in 2 x mono 6.3mm 1/4 inch jack leads into a 3.5mm stero jack input. Put my mono synths, drum machines and ipad through it. Love it.

Superb mixer for Korg Volca enthusiasts
Got this mixer for the purpose of replacing a home made passive mixer I used with my three Korg Volcas and Minilogue. Not only does this mixer work really well and added much needed pre-amplification to my setup, it also completely resolved my ground loop noise problem. What I like is the that it has a main output and a separate headphones out with its own gain, panning and 5 stereo channels using 3.5mm stereo jacks, ideal for the Volcas. It comes complete with a single 3.5mm stereo to 2 times 6.25mm mono jack as a bonus. It is really neat, just about the same size as the Volcas, only a bit flatter, deeper and narrower, but not by much. And it all cost barely more than the components I used to make my own passive 4 channel stereo mixer. I call that good value and I would certainly recommend this over the Volca mixer.

Look elsewhere
If the sound on a channel is less than half volume at the start of something playing then it doesn't work. You have to max out the volume then turn it down again to desired levels every single time.3 month update: now the static when just on and nothing playing has gotten very noticeable. Complete utter trash.

Need a ground loop isolator for all but one input (adds about £6-10 per input)
Brought this unit to connect two pcs and a raspberry pi and find that I need to connect a ground loop isolator to all but 1 input (doesn’t matter which) the issue with doing this is that a ground loop isolated reduces the volume and adds a fair amount of expense to an already expensive solution. I would expect any device who’s sole job is to allow multiple devices to work together, to do that without having to add more parts to make it work properly, I’m not going to return the unit because I’ve got it to work now (if it ain’t broke don’t fix it) but again for the price it really should just work out the box with most devices.Ps. I’ve also tested this device with an iPad, phone (Samsung note 8) and a old MP3 player all had the same issue unless the devices was running on battery even if the iPad and phone was plugged into the same usb plug (a anker 10 way unit without any other devices plugged in)I’ve also have an issue with the power light being way too bright and bleeding into the overload lights (this can be fixed with some white insulation tape though)But I’ve also been experiencing a quiet background hum even without any inputs turned on and the gain set to its default (50%), I can only assume the power supply is quite nosy for this unit, it’s ok but again for £70 I would expect an inaudible noise floor at default settings

Good for the price
Good for the price. One thing to note; the mixer should be used with active speakers — the volume through passive speakers is incredibly quiet. i.e. the amp within the mixer is not that powerful. Other than that I'm very happy with the product. As a mixer newbie it takes some getting used to balancing the volume of each signal without over driving the unit, but this is key using any mixer no matter the size or price (you can google "Gain Structuring"). Currently using it to mix together my Korg Volcas and other music equipment into one set of speakers.

Great tiny mixer, with a great value price.
Great tiny mixer, with a great value price, well made and robust, noise levels are not audible to me, everything just works. The two outputs are really hand, the only thing I don't like is the over bright blue LED which partially bleeds light into the two peak detector LEDs, I might see if I can change this for a red one.
