It starts engines and it’s handy for camping
I’ve had this for a couple of years now so have had chance to use it now and again. It started my wife’s (1.4L petrol) engine immediately when the car battery went flat, and again the next day, without a recharge in between. I had less luck trying to start the 2L petrol on a Mazda I had SORNed for two years during the pandemic - but it turned out the battery on that was completely gone (along with the bodywork of the car, sadly). So it definitely works for jump starts but it’s not going to provide you with a miracle.I have also taken this battery on a few camping trips. Its solid, rugged design makes it much better suited to tent life than are those slim portable batteries designed for business trips. It also has a decent torch built-in, and you can never have too many of them when you’re camping. I’d estimate it can recharge a modern iPhone from almost dead to full approx three times along with occasional use as a torch - so it can supply a family for a night or two, provided the kids are round the campfire not hiding in the tents on their iPads. You probably wouldn’t want to use it heavily for camping, as like any battery it may degrade to the point where the primary car start function fails, but it’s a nice bonus.I’m pleased with this purchase. It’s a handy device to keep in the boot of your car at all times and has the bonus capability of providing battery power outdoors. Even if you have other cars around, it’s easier to use this than traditional jump leads: you don’t need to move two cars close enough for the jump leads to reach, or open two car bonnets.

High-Quality, Intuitive, and Powerful Jump Starter
This jump starter feels very well-built and is incredibly easy to use. Even with my car battery completely dead, it started my 2.0L petrol engine without any issues. The operation is straightforward and intuitive, perfect even in stressful situations. It’s not overkill for me because I also have a diesel vehicle (though I haven’t tested it yet since its battery is still fine). Overall, a solid and reliable product that gives great peace of mind

Start Me up!
I purchased this after seeing in use at a professional Classic Car Restoration business. The Technician told me it was very good and I trusted his recommendation. My initial purchase was for some re animation experimentation as the instant power it could deliver was just right after completion of my calculations. Sadly the re animation experiments didn’t go to plan, however the performance of the unit was spot on. I decided it would be better used for its intended purpose and so used it to start a 2.5ltr petrol BMW with a completely exhausted battery. It did this with ease, three times over as many weeks. On the same charge it has started a 1930 Model A with a Flathead V8 Twice in a day and on the same day a VW T5 diesel. This was all on one charge and it’s still green when I turn the unit on.It’s easy to use and is very small considering what it can do. It’s nicely made and is obviously good quality. The torch works well and it has USB to charge other stuff like your phone. In conclusion: it’s not suited for re animating any sort of creature but it’s excellent for starting cars with flat batteries, thoroughly recommended.

Looks solid and well made, main cable - see review
Firstly I have been trying to find out how long the main booster cable are - they reach 23 inches (just) from tip of red croc clamp to tip of back croc clamp, by pulling them straight, only just ok for a Kuga PHEV under bonnet plus and minus posts. Secondly I didn’t realise that the connecting charge cable is USB C at both ends so you’ll need a USB C charger ( Anker £7.98) or a USB A to USB C connecting cable as most places I’ve stayed only have A outlets so C to C will be useless. Other than that, it appears well made and comes with a soft bag to keep it in, make sure you download the operating manual from Amazon as it’s not included in the box

Effective Robust Easy to Use Jump Starter
Although this is the smallest of the range of jump starter power packs (GB40 1000amps) I found it to be extremely effective. It a in a different league to the older style jump starters being compact, powerful and effective. It is very good value for money. I found it easy to charge with a phone type USB charge cable and it reached 100% within a couple of hours. I have only used it so far to jump start a car with a dead battery and it worked brilliantly. It has more than one use as a phone charger, flashlight etc. Small portable with a convenient storage bag this is excellent value for money.

A handy item to keep
I hope I don't need to use this but it's handy to have it's not to big and nice quality the only thing is it's should come with a c type usb cable but it's more like an a usb cable so I can't plug it in to a usb connector in the usb on wall socket.
