Measured the jar first for a project i had in mind. It was the perfect size, very cute!I love the look of it and its very robust. Ive had no leaks, and its kept things fresh and clean.Great little glass pot for the money

I have been using a BPA free colour changing cup I purchased from a well-known Seattle coffee chain for years, which served me faithfully until the inside began to peel due to thorough daily scrubbing. I wanted to buy a glass cup this time, but found they mostly came in pairs and were more expensive than I wished to pay. I happened upon this preserve jar during my search and I initially bought the 0.5 ltr size in error (far too small for my daily smoothie), but kept it for iced coffee and iced matcha lattes in the summer months. It's the perfect size for those.Impressed by its quality, I ordered the 1 ltr size, and I absolutely love it.It's made from thick glass, has a screw top lid where the centre comes out separately (for use as it is originally intended for bottling preserves), and it keeps the smoothie colder for longer. It washes as cleanly as one would expect from glass and is comfortable to hold despite its weight and size.The added bonus is that it gave me such a lift using it this morning, I definitely unleashed my inner 'that girl', and who wouldn't want that vibe to start their day?Both were inexpensive at under £4, and I highly recommend them, whatever you use them for.

I bought this Kilner 0.5L jar to try making overnight oats, and it’s been amazing! The size is just right—plenty of space for oats, milk, yogurt, and all my favourite toppings, with room to stir it all together without any mess.The screw-top lid is pretty secure, and i haven't had any leaks if I throw it in my bag for work. It’s also really sturdy and feels great quality compared to some of the cheaper jars I’ve used before.Cleaning it is easy, and it doesn’t hold onto smells, which is a huge plus.Honestly, whether you’re making oats like me this jar is a winner. Highly recommend!

Bought these to bottle some plums. Very sturdy and the lids seal well, Good value for money.

Used this to make a batch of homemade lemon curd and it worked beautifully.The screw-top lid sealed tightly with no leaks, and the 500ml size is ideal for smaller batches or gifting.The glass is thick and feels high quality. Looks nice on the shelf too.

Nice size, shape and quality jars, perfect for herby and garlicky olive oil xmas gifts. The packaging is superb too, already made the seasoned oil which looks amazing in these jars, I have popped them back in the packaging and stored them away safely to marinate until Xmas. I will be buying more

I have never bought a Kilner brand jar until this one and it is a very good quality product, the glass isn't too thick but strong, and the lid comes with an inner sealing lid and the ring for if you wanted to can items. i bought it for another purpose so i cannot say how well it does at canning, but i would imagine with the quality it is more than capable.
