Stunning set of tools to have
After long time having no hex keys in my arsenal, I had to get one as most of the jobs had to be done with this type.As I like to have quality tools with me at all times I had many recommendation that Wera can do any required job and they make high-quality tools. I have to say they were on the higher price I was considering long time if I should get them. After many weeks I have made a decision to give it a go as If it is not a mistake they will get back all the money after long term. I can say for sure I made no mistake and this is great set of tools.Delivered day after in a premium packaging as expected and keys themselves are great. Durable, precisely made with a good grip to them with rubber covers which are color coded and makes your job a lot easier by picking the right size in no time. After doing many jobs with these I can say I wouldn't buy any other ones and am too happy to recommend them to everyone considering to get a big set to have it for any required job!

The best set of hex keys you will find
These come in an all-green sleeved set, or the multi-coloured set you see here. The sleeving is plastic, and provides a solid grip - It's well stuck on, durable, and doesn't slide about. I went for the multi-coloured set as they were slightly cheaper, but the colours can help to distinguish between the different sizes. The holder easily locks and unlocks by sliding the green latch on the side, and the keys hold in their slots very well, but are also removed without much trouble.Something great about these is that compared to a standard set of hex keys, they are much larger, allowing you to apply a greater torque. The largest 10mm key is almost 24cm in length. The best thing about these is definitely the ball on the end, allowing you to use the keys at an angle. It works really well, I don't have any difficulty using them at angles. The Hex-Plus profile also allows up to 20% more torque to be applied, according to Wera, and reduces the chance of rounding off the fastener. I think they also help a bit with getting out lightly rounded fasteners, so you can try these before hammering in a torx bit.I think it's safe to say these are the best hex keys in existence. The hex-plus profile, large size, and brilliant ball on the end makes these effective and very easy to use.Highly recommended!

Reliable, hard working and cost effective.
I've been using Wera tools for the last ten years.I first found Wera in Screwfix. Eventually they stopped stocking them and I turned to Amazon to renew my trusty tools.I renew my hex keys once every six months. Some would say it excessive but I only need to round one bolt head and the hour removing the rounded bolt would far outweigh the cost or renewal. The weight and lack of flex in these keys make them the perfect hex key for myself. When I first stared using these the outer rubber was green on all of the set. It's good to see they have now colour coded the keys. I'm often working in small spaces with not much light so it makes selecting the correct key simple when they are all scattered in a pile (let's be honest few of us put them back in the holder until you've finished the job in hand)I'm a engineer by trade and my half hour labour rate is double the cost of these keys. The last thing I want a customer to see is me fumbling with cheap tools.I was once told a poor workman blames his tools. This in part is true BUT have you noticed all the best workmen have the best tools?I'm a best workman....

Definitive set. Excellent quality Allen keys and the 'plus' design makes a lot of sense, much less likely to round-out a bolt
Definitive set. Excellent quality Allen keys. The coloured parts are some sort of soft plastic which aids grip, but also means the colour coding isn't going to wear off.Been trying to get my head around the 'unique' design; I think the key point is that the edges of each hexagonal face of the key aren't sharp. Normally, because there's no such thing as a perfect fit in an Allen screw, the edge digs in slightly in the screw head. This slowly cuts away at the metal and eventually leads to rounding out the socket head. These Wera keys have an angled surface instead of an edge that pushes against the faces inside the screw socket. This means less pressure and so much less cutting into the metal, and so much reduced chance of rounding out the socket. SUPERB design idea. And of course means the keys themselves will last longer. The holder locks shut firmly and securely holds the keys.Excellent set. Can't fault it, so it just depends whether you can get it at an acceptable cost. I got fed up with cheap sets rounding off or twisting and decided to finally get a quality set.Good chance of undoing a problem hex screw with these keys, that a normal Allen key isn't working on.

Highly recommended but be careful!!!
I keep coming back to Wera products, long lasting and quality. These are strong and you get a very good torque on them, they are solid in construction and operation and don't twist like the cheaper hex sets. Unfortunately they are not indestructible and I have had the 5mm one (of my previous set) snap on me, hence this purchase to replace, to be fair I got over confident with them and was applying a lot of force (I often use them with a self made extension bar for extra torque and they have always been reliable). I have had my previous set for about 4 years and used them virtually every working day, if you need to remove a seized hex screw then these will give you a good chance, a cheap set will just twist at half the pressure of these, whilst these will remain solid, although be careful not to over torque...

Great anti-strip technology
Amazing set of Allen keys. Great for working on bikes and cars, especially chinesium bolts which are very prone to stripping. Can’t recommend enough
