Absolutely fantastic voice recorder, the watch is very chic and modern, great idea
I'm really impressed with this voice recorder. it just looks like a very stylish chic digital watch, no one would think for a minute it's a voice recorder! The voice recorder comes with a usb cable so you can charge the recorder and be able to download what you have recorded, some headphones and instructions which I would advice to read. It is nice and simple to set up and I really like the simplicity of how you use it. To start recording you literally press the button to turn on and off- a background light comes on as it does on many digital watches - this let's you know you've started or stopped recording. This voice recorder can be used by so many people for many different ways which is great, nice and durable. Ideal for students to record notes, people in meetings, at interviews and so much more. Personally I got it as I have a lot of health problems and am very forgetful, many times i come away from consultants, gps etc already forgetting things that had been discussed which is quite frustrating. Now I can put my watch on and very easily record the whole conversation, which is not only good to jog my memory but for my husband and carers to know exactly what was said. The sound quality of the recordings is good, we can clearly hear what has been said. You can use this as a mp3 player too- Its a absolutely fantastic gadget especially for the price! I've already been asked to buy another for my son at Christmas which is a great idea actually as this would be an ideal gift for so many.

meh...
More of a voice recorder on your wrist than a watch... turn it on to record, otherwise you can't see the time... strap came round wrong way so I had to cut the strap part and switch it over so it wasn't upside down. All in all it does what it says but its not by any means well designed, explains the cheap price.

Watch style Audio voice recorder
I read the positive reviews for this Digital Voice Recorder Watch and so purchased one at the advertised price. My experience was very different to that of the reviewers. The watch came in a nice box well packed. It looks quite smart has a generous length of wristband and is comfortable when worn.My watch arrived fully charged and had mp3 music files on it.I switched it on. The screen did what the Manual stated it would on start up and then went blank. Pressing the M button as instructed brought up the wrong time and date but according to the manual showed that recording was taking place.Plugging in the ear bubs and carrying out instructions as per the manual allowed me to listen to the mp3 music but no sign of the audio recording. There was also a noticeable delay between pressing the buttons and the response on the watch. Sometimes there was no response at all.I am not a computer expert just an ordinary user. Here is what happened when I connected it to an AMD fast computer just a few months old running Windows 10 with fully up to date drivers. The watch showed up as a removable drive. It showed a hardware dll. A time set folder and two music test files.Trying to open the time set folder caused windows to show a Malware and Malicious Software alert and prevent its opening . In fact it cleared the window of everything except the hardware dll. I then tried to scan it with Norton Internet Security. That brought up a Norton Security Box which stated that Norton was disconnected from the internet and could only carry out a local scan.I immediately ejected the device and Norton was connected back to the internet and scanned THE COMPUTER as normalAs an ordinary PC user I have no idea what any of that really means but I regard the watch as being unsafe to connect to my PC AND I AM RETURNING IT. I did so for a full refund.I was then contacted by Xinstar support. They sent me a new watch FREE OF CHARGE.This is my unbiased report on that replacement. The watch worked as a recorder as described in the manual. The played back recording was audible and clear. Background noise suppression was quite good. I had difficulty with the menu on the watch and could not access a few of the settings. As I only want it as a voice recorder that is unimportant to me.The issue with it not being recognised by windows was resolved on my computer by not plugging it into a usb hub but directly into a usb 2.0 socket on the computer. Both the windows OS and the Norton Software detected it with a Norton scan finding no threats.I used the set time function to correct the time without problem. The watch now does what I wanted it to do,record voices and does it quite well. The response from Xinstar support was all unsolicited and was outstanding. I cannot award it 5 stars as there were still a couple of problems with menu items but if they were sorted as I think they will be I would not hesitate to award 5 stars.

Works well but...
Product works remarkably well and battery lasts brilliantly. Also seems to be unaffected by being in blazing sun (on wrist) day after day.Only niggle is that getting data off watch is a niggle. It works but isn't frictionless. Most people assume it's a step tracker however so it's great for discreetly recording meetings etc.

Poor quality. It wouldn't sync to the pc which meant you couldn't set the time. The actual screen display is very tiny making it hard to read. And when you put it on your wrist the thing was UPSIDE DOWN. Ie when putting it on,buckle to the top, strap to the bottom as you would normally wear a watch it was then the wrong way around. And even though the straps will slide out they are shaped to only fit one way.Had to leave one star as that is the lowest I can put

but once you know how it works it's very easy to turn it on and off
Does what it says on the tin. You have to read the instructions because the controls are not exactly intuitive, but once you know how it works it's very easy to turn it on and off. No one will notice when you start recording. It captures the sound from quite a distance - for example a large meeting room.Great customer service as well. When I received the watch I was missing a cable. I sent an email and they were very quick to respond and send me the missing part.

Excellent purchase. Works perfectly
Product came delivered fast with no issues. Watch is very discreet and very very easy to use. With a simple on/off switch you are able to start recording. Easily connect the watch via USB cable supplied to a laptop or PC and retrieve your recorded files. Records for a very long time and battery has never died on me. I would recommend. And would purchase again.

Six months in the on/off switch packed up and now the thing is useless. Tried to contact the supplier to no avail
All went well for a few months. I used it to record details of walking football matches I was playing in - writing up match reports later. Six months in the on/off switch packed up and now the thing is useless. Tried to contact the supplier to no avail.
