Great idea and it works. Quality could be better, simple to use, just get it int position and tighten the screws however, one of the four screws doesn’t grip properly. Still useable and I will resolve problem by replacing the nuts with wing nutsUpdateI have been contacted by the seller since this review was posted to get further details of the problem I encountered. As a result he is sending me an improved version of the tool which I will review when I receive it. Very poorly made. Flimsy plastic and poor printing - lots of ink smudges. These two facts combined mean that this would likely be of little or no use for measuring or marking with any degree of accuracy. The packaging in which it came was probably of greater quality. Not recommended

Not sure what the 'Upgraded' means in the product title! A good design, but appears to be made of a weak plastic manufacture, certainly not tough enough for outside building work, but ok for odd jobs. Plastic seem thin, and the plastic tightening knobs really had to be tightened down hard to hold it in any position, I put clear plastic washers under the 4 x knobs, and it then held in position, but would not without them. I suppose for the money, it is what it is, but if a tougher, more durable product was around, it would be better to pay a lot more. To be honest, I was going to return it to Amazon, but putting the washers on made it a lot sturdier and better.

Honestly, don't even think about buying this. If you pulled this out of a cheap Christmas cracker you would still be disappointed. The ruler bits are of the quality you'd expect from paying this amount - adequate. Nevertheless, the plastic holding bolts are beyond useless - they either can't be tightened or can't be undone. Had they worked at all they would not have survived long. I've rescued the device by binning the plastic bolts and replacing them with some M6 roofing bolts and wing nuts (see pic) I happened to have handy. I see that there are some of these devices available that are made from aluminium for just a few pounds extra - haven't tried one but I guess they would be far better. Recommend that you go without your skinny mocha latte for a day and pony up for a different product :-)

Poor materials. Very bendy plastic. None of the clamps worked until I took them apart and ground them down. Once I had done that it worked, but considering that the clamps are just the cheapest plastic, I don't expect it to last. It was however cheap and the first time I have bought this kind of tool. If it proves useful, I will buy a better built version form another supplier.

Any basic DIYer, like me, will appreciate this - I mess up cutting anything that isn't straight! This gadget is flimsy cos it's lightweight plastic but it's great for cutting things at all sorts of angles. I'd actually fork out for one that's a bit more sturdy now.

This tool is very good value for money. I purchased this to help me cut some foam tiles. As the shape of the room isn't square I needed this to get the angle correct.It's easy to use and worked well for what I needed it for.

This is extremely useful I purchased it while putting some decking down for my friend. There garden is at all sorts of angles and this made them a breeze. All I did was adjust the sliders on to the beams and moved the second set to the angle tighten down and done. Really easy and great at keeping the angle like a sliding bevels but better.
