I'm no big fan of "hey - not enough die cast in this model" rubbish. I've read reviews of some 'diecasts' where the emphasis seems to be on how much it weighs rather than almost anything else. I don't buy things like this based on their mass... So: a fair amount of fairly light plastic but a well finished truck.
