First setting is cold, 2nd is warm and 3rd is hot. Hope this helps

Q: What's the most optimal setting of this blow-dryer for short / medium hair, pompadour? Which heat (there are 3)? Which speed setting (there are 2)?

This was a gift for someone and so I’m not sure about settings and heat. I think it probably depends on the length and thickness of hair being styled or dried. Trying the different settings would probably be the best way around this.
