So difficult to use at first, but persevere every day and you'll get great results. I started off trying to do 10 per day and at first my range of motion was very small, but gradually as my strength built up I could increase the range of motion, although I still have a way to go before I can reach the full range and really stretch all the way out. I still have to stay on my knees to use this, unlike my boyfriend and his friends who can use it balancing on their toes! It's very challenging and I would advise to watch a few youtube videos before giving this a go to get your technique correct and to see how to modify to make it easier in the beginning. The wheel itself is very easy to put together and well made. It comes in 3 pieces, with the wheels and handles separate and putting it together is very obvious and can be done in a few seconds. I don't usually use the mat as it's a bit thin for our hard wooden floors and I have a thicker yoga mat to kneel on, but it's probably fine to use if you are using this wheel on either carpet or laminate floors. Wholeheartedly recommended for anyone who wants to really build their core, its an excellent arm workout too. I am not particularly strong in the upper body, so it's taken a few months to build up some strength there. But I would say persevere,. because if I can do it, anyone can! (I broke my right arm a few years ago and since then I've always been very careful when bearing weight on it). I have just now updated my review to 5 stars as now I'm getting the hang of it I'm really enjoying using this piece of equipment. It really works your core hard, much more than plank and crunches ever could! If you're serious about getting a toned stomach for the summer, you need one of these and they don't seem to have them in the gym!

This ab roller is very easy to put together and take apart and is quite durable. The knee pad I found ok, however, it is thin (hence it loses a star), so anyone with delicate knees willl have to use thicker (non-slip) cushioning. It is very good for the price. I have been exercising for over thirty years, and use this as part of my workouts in the gym, and at home. In my opinion, people who exercise occasionally or who are new to exercising will feel the affects in the abdominals more than someone who trains regularly. Nonetheless, I like it a lot, and I still recommend it to anyone. There is lots of information on ways to use it on a certain video website. I will add that ab rollers are not the ultimate solution to the holy grail of a six-pack or a flat stomach. Doing other forms of exercise, eat healthily and rest will help with your well-being. Experienced users might want to try an ab roller with a single wheel, such as the Lifeline USA Power Wheel II (unfortunately not available on Amazon UK, but do a search for it) which I found is much more of a challenge.

What can I say; this is a great bit of kit. I have been using it for a few years and it has really increased my core strength and contributed to a better physique. It is very simple to assemble and as such can be broken down to allow you to pack in luggage to take when you are away from home. I'm a pretty big chap and even with my weight it still feels sturdy and supportive whilst using it. Its very comfortable to use and easy on the hands. The only negative point is the knee pad which could be a little thicker to provide extra comfort. It still works great and looks like new despite using it nearly every day. A must have piece of kit for anyone looking to improve their core strength.

I bought this 4 month post partum to try and build up my core strength again. On opening it is in 5 parts plus the knee Mat. One metal pole, 2 wheels & the handles. Easy to put together in less than a minute. After trying it out (realising I have a lot of core work to do!), it's great to use and very smooth - definitely working all the right areas. Just make sure you keep your core tight or you back will get destroyed. Knee pad may not seem much but is actually very comfortable and takes that friction away when using the wheel on carpet or solid floors. I don't think the price is too bad as I believe this product will last a long time. Overall a great product that does what it says!

The reason why I'm giving this a three star, is because it is a normal standard product. There is nothing more of less to this product. Its easy to assemble to put together and to take apart. It very light weight and easy to store away, you can also take it with you from one place to another. The only disadvantage about this product is, there is not much you can do with this. It only goes back and fourth. This is why returned the product. Also I was not really seeing much difference when using this. I highly recommend customers to purchase the ab roller with the foot straps included, you can purchase one with the foot straps from the same company as this ab roller. The foot straps included with the ab roller, allows you to use the tool in many ways. It's much more effective and boy you will feel it the next day. compared to this one, its very simple and there was not much benefit involved.
