Use your own bait !
My wife had spotted a mouse in the kitchen though we could not find it . Had the traps down two nights ….nothing . Was telling my wife she was hallucinating etc but thought I’d try it one more night . The bait no longer had an aroma so I put in a small piece of cheese . Next morning . Micky is there on the floor in the trap . Easy release without touching the mouse . Should imagine the spring is strong enough for a small rat as well

One of the Best of the Best!
i've Never seen Any good trap as this one. I had 2 mice still lurking around my kitchen at night and i had to get rid of them some how. i tried the Glue stick trap, that really didnt work very well. But this one is the Ultimate Killer Trap. as you can see in the pic, i got this mice spot on on day one itself, the food bait i loaded was peanut butter, the mice all time favourite food. i have managed to catch 2 of them with this and you cant go wrong with this trap. Believe me, you wont be disappointed with this purchase. i believe its worth every penny. i'd rate it 10/10

STV148 - ULTRA POWER MOUSE TRAPS + COMPARISONS
Much more effective than traditional mouse traps and much easier to set. I bought these at the same time as Rentokil Advanced Mousetraps and other devices so I could compare for effectiveness - I had a few mice which I had initially tried to eliminate using poison but they seemed to be immune. (I have since heard that peanuts or something in bird-food may act as an antidote. I am not sure how true that is but I think it is what attracted the mice and they were eating peanuts that I had for feeding the birds. In the hope of showing which devices and methods were most effective out of those I tried I will list what I tried below.1. poison. tried Rentokil mouse and rat poison for a few weeks. No mice were killed as far as I know ie no bad smells of mice decomposing and plenty of poison being taken over a 2-3 week period.2. Stronger poison tried - unknown brand - I was told it was what the farmers use as it works more quickly. No aparrent effect bul poison was being taken.3. Traditional mousetraps from local hardware shop. Plenty of fingers caught but only one mouse. baited with chocolate covered raisins and peanut buller4. Mouse Trap Humane baited with peanut butter and toasted sesame seeds - no success.5. Rentokil Advanced mousetrap baited with peanut butter and or toasted sesame seeds killed 2, or 3 one found dead next to trap - the one that nearly got away.6. Procter Pest Stop Professional Electronic Rat Mice Mouse Killer Trap baited with peanut butter and toasted sesame seed killed 3. Two looked like young ones. seemed to be set off on at least 2 occasions with no mouse inside. Afterwards seems to have been avoided.7.STV148 - ULTRA POWER MOUSE TRAPS pre-baited good as mice cannot easily lick bait out without setting trap off. I also tried toasted sesame seed stuck on to bait. These were most effective apart from item 8. They seemed more likely to catch the quick ones. Caught 4 one of which was caught by the tail but the trap held on to it stopping the mouse from entering through a small opening into fitted furniture.8.GLUE BOARDS - UK made Mouse Glue Trap Boards. This method was the most effective catching 5 (3 in the first night) I was reluctant to use glue boards only turning to them as a last resort. If you do do use these you MUST monitor them regularly (2x per day by law in UK minimum. You also need the stomach to quickly dispatch the mice or the patience to release them with vegetable oil. I used a small bolster chisel to the back of the neck. I realize that sounds awful but it is quick and effective when used with a hard surface and not too messy. Please do not just put the glue trap in the bin allowing the animal a lingering death

Easy to use very effective!
These traps have worked instantly! Got the additional trap bate with them. Traps caught two mice before topping up bait. It seems to be irresistible to the poor mice. We would prefer to use humane traps but the issue called for more drastic measures in in-laws old house. Highly recommend. We set two traps at first and have now upped to 4, catching 2 per day in each trap! In our own house we have put clove oil in diffusers around problem areas and no mice in traps so try clove oil also to vacate them.

Easy to use
If used properly and strategically i its very effective, humane trapping of mouse at home. Its easy to use and best used with bait made by big cheese .

Powerful sensitive trap and clean kill
Less than 2hrs after placing these got the first intruder that other traps have failed to get for weeks. The trigger is very sensitive so they can't steal the bait like other traps and the force and design ensure a quick, humane kill. Easy to dispose of the body without needing to handle it as well and easy to clean. Wish I'd of bought these in the first instance instead of wasting my money elsewhere

Got a mouse first time
Got a mouse at first attempt. Used in conjunction with the mouse lure. Instant kill and no blood. I feel guilty of course but no choice as found droppings in kitchen. Sorry little mouse but these traps seem to be the most humane option.

Worked first time then was awful
So caught a small one after a few days, then it went off again as I could hear a scraping sound outsider - not realising it was the trap under my deck. Finally realised it was the rat trap to find a rat in there moving around. Opening the box - the trap had snapped but the rat was still alive?! These are meant to be quick and humane - it was awful. I contacted amazon who just gave a partial refund as I wasn't keen on posting back a used trap. Hoping mine was faulty and generally seem to get good reviews?
