Are these compostable, or at least recyclable?

I have looked on the box and recycling is not mentioned. Try going to the companies website.

what micron size are these? I`m looking for something under 5 microns.

No idea, far too technical for me. All I know is they do the job they were designed for.

Do these fit the 3 cup chemex or are they too big?

They will fit after a fashion (you might have to fold them a bit but this is not ideal .. What would be better however are the correct filters.... FP-2 half circles.

Does this fit the FS-100 Chemex?
