Great basic calculator for everyday use

Nice compact size, very lightweight. Functions as it should. Buttons easy to use, good value for money for a non-scientific calculator. Yes, my mobile phone has a calculator, which I do use, but prefer having an independent calculator so I can jump between phone screen and calculator if needed

Contrary to the product information, this calculator is dual-powered, so has a battery. This is a good basic calculator, of which there are many on the market, however this one does have a feature which makes it very useful to me. As long as you don't press the AC (all cancel) button, it will remember the last answer indefinitely, even after it has turned itself off (as long as the battery is good). Most calculators do not do this. I have switched the calculator on after a weekend and the previous answer still displays. This function is very handy for my work where I need to double-check that I have set the machine correctly 20-30 mins later. Even though it switches itself off to save power (like most calculators do after 8mins) I just switch it on, press ANS, and the last answer is displayed. It saves me constantly writing down a calculated dimension for later reference, or worse still redoing the calculation. This calculator also has a thick layer of clear plastic over the readout and solar cells, which gives some protection, though for my purposes it would have been even better if it came with a protective case.

Great product and fast delivery

I bought this for my sons exams in University and must say it exceeded my expectations. The actual calculator came well packaged and jn great condition with no damage to the box or packaging it was in. When attempting to use the calculator it was very easy. I noticed was preprogrammed so didn't require any effort but simply writing the equation you wished to answer. The actual keys were very sturdy and foolproof. What I loved was the clear distinction of keys and hpw long they lasted without fading, which is a problem I often face. All in all, I highly recommend.

Do not confuse this quality numerical tool with the hoards of built-to-the-lowest-price junk that overwhelms the results when you are searching simple yet functional calculators. You know as soon as you touch a button this is a cut above. No more mis-hits or double presses, you can tap away safe in the knowledge it will faithfully follow your commands. Angled screen makes it easier to read on the desk. Dual power means it always works and it is responsive. A simple device that does it's job very well, like a Lotus car or a Seiko watch. Don't be tempted to save a few pennies, just buy this. And it's a trillion times better than having find the calculator app on your phone or PC. The connoisseurs compact calculator.

looks good not the usual tat you get from china sharp is a good name it is well built display is well bright and very clear

Ist gut zu bedienen

J'ai une calculatrice Sharp depuis au moins 20 ans, que j'utilise régulièrement, elle fonctionne toujours mais commence à fatiguer un peu au niveau des touches... De ce fait j'ai choisi la même marque et en suis satisfait, l'étoile en moins est due à deux détails qui n'enlèvent certes rien à ses qualités intrinsèques : - pas de touche "arrêt ou "OFF" il faut attendre la tempo de 7 min pour qu'elle s’éteigne - pas de trappe d'accès à la pile, il faut dévisser le couvercle arrière. Reste à attendre 20 ans pour voir si elle a tenu autant que sa devancière ! :-)
