she loves gadgets like this especially if they light up aswell
I purchased this for my daughters birthday, she loves gadgets like this especially if they light up aswell. I didn't really know what to expect but read through the reviews first and decided to go with itI ordered this on prime and recieved it the next day. It was securely packaged in its own box along with instructions. For this jellyfish tank you will need 3x AA batteries which are not included. To use-Turn the aquarium upside down and unscrew the battery coverInsert 3 x AA batteries and screw cover back onRemove the lid and small rubber capFill to the top with waterTurn switch to 'on'Add 1-2 drops of liquid dishwashing detergentPut your jellyfish in and use a straw to turn them to avoid air bubbles getting trapped inside themPut rubber cap and lid back onI filled with water and added 2 drops of fairy liquid. This tank comes with 2 small jellyfish, I put them in and turned them with a straw to make sure no air was trapped. The machine it's self is not overly noisy to be honest, it's just a little motor keeping the air bubbles swirling which makes them moveThe lights are really bright and once it's filled with water it's very sturdy. Overall it's a lot better than I thought it would be! Very pleased with my purchase

Wonderfully Mesmerising
Wow I love it, so fast and easy to set up, don’t forget the couple of drops of washing up liquid to help them swim and make sure they are fully submerged upside down before letting go but if they do get any air in them it’s very quick to just give them a poke with a straw, and it literally took less than four minutes to set up! I’ve only had it for a few hours but it is so relaxing and mesmerising to watch them swim around, the lighting in the tank is beautiful and perfect for a desk or even as a child’s nite light, not to big or to small and for me it was well worth the money.

Nice item
Lovely item when i realised to make them move i needed washing up liquid. Only thing is batteries run out fast. I wanted for a night light but after an hour batteries completely gone. So i don't really use it as I can't bothered to keep unscrewing it all the time. Would have been better to have a power supply to the mains

Good but eats batteries
My son loves this and is Brill when it's on. Takes 2 batteries and they really don't last long.

Lovely light
This was a Christmas present for my daughter and she loves it. Easy to assemble, but as others have said, make sure to add the drops of washing up liquid. I added as much water as I could before we put the jelly fish in and then topped up so there was as little an air gap as possible. The light is lovely and the floating jellyfish are very relaxing to watch: I have yet to figure out how to change the batteries!

Amazing
Saw this or something very similar on a television programme and loved it. I ordered this and its amazing. Easy to set up and I could watch it for hours. I followed the instructions of one of the reviewers and instead of putting the washing up liquid in the water, I smeared it all over the two jellyfish and it worked a treat. Then just feed them through the hole holding on to their tails and make sure the heads are full of water before letting go. I used a drinking straw to help. Everyone that has seen it loves it.

Stopped working after 10 minutes!
The media could not be loaded. Simply stopped working. Jellyfish stuck at top of tank. Very disappointing for a 5 year old.

Broke after 10 minutes 👎🏼
We filled the lamp up as requested, put the washing up liquid in and waited 1 minute. We added the jelly fish and they floated around for all of 10 minutes then they stopped and just floated along the top and wouldn’t move. We emptied it out and tried again and the bubbles didn’t work at all. Just bobbing along the top. The light worked but that’s about it. My little boy is gutted, seems a bit of a waste of money which is a shame!
