Useful really useful boxes
These boxes are very good and have been using them for over 5 years. The fact that they are see-through, stack-able and the quality of build features mean that although they are more expensive then other 'plastic' boxes its worth the money. I do wait for Amazon offers as the full price is a bit steep. Also I have tried the double size box (64 L) but it gets too heavy when filled with files/paper etc... so I use them for less dense stuff. I now use the same principle as the removal men ... more small light boxes is better than less heavier boxes... I have tried cheaper and flimsier boxes without the stiffening ribs on the outside and they break and split after a few years of use. The only slight downside is these are slightly more difficult to clean on the outside as there are lots of corners to collect dust! The other good thing is that they stack 2 together on top of the larger box and fit inside the dip in the lid so secure stacking. Great product!

Trying to help sort out the size confusion...
I have added two pictures to the image gallery to show one of the 35 litre boxes I received this morning from Amazon.I think some of the earlier reviewers have suffered from the wrong sizes being shown in the title of this item, and possibly then getting that wrong size sent to them from a Marketplace seller. To hopefully help clear this up -- The box sent when I ordered this item is the 35 litre one I was expecting- The capacity is shown correctly in the title (35L) but the dimensions shown (245x180x160mm) are wrong- The correct sizes are listed in the detailed description (External 480x390x310mm, Internal 370x310x280mm)I have emailed Amazon and asked that they ammend the title to prevent further confusion.Anyway - on to the boxes:These are simply first rate storage; strong, well made and available in a diverse range of sizes for different uses. I have purchased them in three sizes to date, and just ordered some more:9L - Really Useful Storage Box Plastic Lightweight Robust Stackable 9 Litre W255xD395xH155mm Clear - Ref 9Chandy for A4 size magazines, papers or just some of life's 'bits 'n bobs'35L - great for book storage; the photo shows 18 books in one box which makes for moderately heavy, but still manageable, storage64L - Really Useful Storage Box Plastic Lightweight Robust Stackable 64 Litre W440xD710xH310mm Clear Ref 64Cideal for clothes storage; anything much heavier would probably be unmanageable if you filled the box. I did purchase these from the High Street though as there is currently (April 2013) a 2 for £20 offer at Staples. It is worth noting that some sizes (including the 35L) come in 'standard' - which these are - and 'extra strong' Really Useful Box 35 Litre Extra Strong which are more expensive and only available in white rather than clear. The standard ones seem plenty strong enough, but it might be worth considering the extra strong if you wanted to carry tools around in a work van for example. There is only one negative - because the boxes are straightsided they do not stack inside one another when empty, so they do take up more space than some other storage options when not in use.Thoroughly recommended.

Sturdy, attractive and stackable
I use these boxes to maximise the storage space in cupboards and wardrobes. A shelf will eventually become overloaded and jumbled with things piled on top of each other. They are very sturdy, stackable and have fastenable lids. They are also well designed and look good. I use separate boxes for storing things of a certain type and when I need to search for an item I just go to that box instead of emptying half a cupboard in a blind search. I used to use cardboard storage boxes but they were prove to splitting or collapsing or else the lid would not fit but not with these Really Useful boxes which are built to last.

It really is 'Really useful'!
I purchased these (directly from Amazon, not via a third party) after seeing them in stores, and deciding I needed to do something with the vast amounts of paper work gathered over the years. This box was chosen because of its size, and sturdiness, and the ability to take standard A4 suspension files (I purchased Esselte Pendaflex A4 Suspension Files - Green (Pack of 25))The boxes have straight sides which does mean that when empty they will no nest inside each other, but to me this is an advantage as they are stronger. The lid has a deep recess so that when stacking on top of each other they are more secure. The other plus side of the straight sided boxes is that you can buy inserts to go in them (ie cutlery trays, craft trays etc)A great feature is the small holes on the handles - this allows the use of tamper proof pins (ideal to ensure no one has been in your box if its being used for archiving documents).

Big, solid and really useful.
Not the first time I've bought a Really Usefull Box'. They are ideal for storing lots of things, especially if you have no choice but to store them where there might be a little condensation.

First class product
Love these boxes, love the website and the huge selection they have available. Quality is second to none and they look amazing when set up. Just come across someone who must have had over 100 of these and they stack so well, it adds a professional look to any home office environment that may be short on space. The only down side is that they are expensive to buy in small quantities direct from the company as their carriage charges seem excessive - £12 for a couple of boxes, so can be more than the product itself. If you buy in bulk, that become much less of an issue. However through Amazon or Morrison or if you have Prime, you can't go wrong with these and their product range details supplied give you accurate guidance of what is available, along with measurements.
