How do you open the back of the watch? , its seems to be stuck.

On mine the back was easily pried off with a fingernail. But I'd permanently removed the watch from the strap to use it in a costume - would have been difficult if I'd not.

Can you change the watch dial by undoing the brass studs or are they fixed? Also how wide is the inner strap going to the watch face? Thx

Studs are riveted to the watch strap so it looks like “fun and games” when I have to change the battery! It’s do-able though just very restrictive. Nice of them to include a spare battery which is a bonus.

How do I insert the battery?

Take it to somewhere like Timpson’s.

Is it leather or pu leather?

stinky leather strap

Watch keeps perfect time. Like the look of it and it is comfortable to wear. The strap is a little short for my wrist but it is managable. But boy does the leather stink. Had the watch for a few days and the smell has worn off a bit but if you buy one be prepared for the smell.Overall for the cost well worth it.

Not for slim wristed people

This is a great watch if you have a thicker wrist than I do. It looks great but it's just too big for me.

So far time is accurate

Bought this as a cheap watch to wear when I forget to charge my smart watch. For the price it is really good, real leather strap. Only criticism is the strap is quite rigid. Cant really complain for a cheap watch.

Nice watch but 2 flat batteries.

Nice design but battery went flat after a few days. And it was hell to replace because the spindle has to be removed to access the back and then reinserted while threaded through the strap. Then the spare battery (supplied) went flat almost straight away. Since when it has sat in my drawer. I suspect these things are cheap because they sit around unsold for years. Nice strap, real leather. Will be a nice watch if I can ever be bothered t o get it working.

Excellent quality and price!

For just over a tenner this watch is incredible,very strong and robust and well made, real thick leather strap, very clear watch face in roman numerals, chunky and hard wearing, brass type rivets lock the watch to the leather strap. Easy to adjust and quartz accuracy. This watch has almost everything. The only improvement i can think of is it would have been useful with a watch face that glows in the dark or that incorporates a light for night viewing, but other then that this is an outstanding high quality timepiece!

Mechanism isn't very good

I really like the watch but it keeps getting stuck and losing time. I have to keep resetting it. Shame.
