I'm a complete newbie to machine embroidery and was unsure whether to buy these threads or not as they are reasonably inexpensive compared to some other brands on the market. I needn't have worried as they work well in my machine and the embroidery has a lovely sheen to it. Very pleased with the selection of colours although I can see myself having to add more in the near future!

a really good buy, excellent quality threads but I have a problem with the paper colour numbers are ripping or coming off when I use a reel of thread. Have no idea how I can solve this

I'm new to machine embroidery and soon discovered that brand name threads are horrendously expensive. I took a chance on this Brothread collection hoping that it wouldn't damage my lovely new machine. They are FABULOUS! Silky, glossy thread that sews out perfectly, no breaking or shredding, and produces lovely results. A very good selection of colours and a numbered colour matching chart for Brother brand threads. They are excellent value for money and I'm sure I'll be buying them again. I just wish Brothread offered individual reels to replace those used. They came with a pack of nets which, when cut into three pieces for 300 mtr reels, will stop cut ends unravelling.

Super fijn garen voor de borduurmachine. De kleuren op de klosjes komen overeen met de Brother kleuren uit het borduuratroon. Er zit een kleurenkaart bij, echt heel fijn!

So che c'è scritto che sono filati per ricamo. Ma io cercavo un set completo di fili per cucito e riparazioni in quanto mi limito a fare questo genere di lavoretti. Conosco bene il gutermann all sew che però ha un prezzo molto alto, perciò in passato ne ho preso solo qualche rocchetto da 100m solo quando mi serviva. Però volevo la comodità di avere tutti i colori sempre pronti in casa. Questo set è FANTASTICO! Il diametro, il materiale poliestere, l'assenza di pelucchi e la robustezza (sentendo la forza necessaria per romperlo a mano) sono a mio parere del tutto simili al gutermann. Con 500m per colore ne avrò abbastanza per la vita, senza dovermi più preoccupare di accontentarmi di un colore che assomiglia. Li utilizzo su una Singer Quantum Stylist 9960 finora con ottimi risultati su tessuti leggeri e pesanti. Le perfezioniste del ricamo dissentiranno scandalizzate sicuramente, ma io ho risolto il mio problema e son contento. L'unica vera mancanza è un sistema per fermare il capo del filo quando il rocchetto non è in uso. Ho rimediato facendo una incisione con il cutter alla base di ogni rocchetto. Potevano farla di fabbrica che facevano bella figura a costo zero. Vero è che ti regalano alcune retine fermafilo, ma a mio parere non sono molto pratiche. Ciao ciao

Ich habe mir das New brothread Stickgarn-Set mit 63 Farben bestellt, weil ich gerne verschiedene Stickmuster ausprobiere und eine große Auswahl an Garnen wollte. Schon beim Auspacken war ich begeistert – die Farben sind kräftig, leuchtend und decken wirklich jede Nuance ab, die man beim Sticken gebrauchen kann. Das Garn lässt sich super in meiner Stickmaschine verwenden. Es läuft gleichmäßig durch, reißt nicht und hinterlässt ein sauberes Stichbild. Egal ob feine Schriftzüge, größere Muster oder dekorative Motive – die Ergebnisse sehen immer professionell aus. Auch nach dem Waschen behalten die Farben ihre Brillanz, was für mich ein wichtiges Qualitätsmerkmal ist. Besonders praktisch finde ich die handliche Länge von 500 Metern pro Spule. So habe ich genug Material für viele Projekte, ohne dass die Garnrollen zu sperrig werden. Für mich ist dieses Set die perfekte Grundlage für kreative Stickarbeiten, und ich freue mich jedes Mal, wenn ich eine neue Farbe auswählen kann.
