Amtech G0946 Filler Applicator Kit, 4-piece Plastic Scraper Set, Lightweight, Reusable and Easy to Clean, Sizes 50, 80, 100, 120mm

Have used stainless steel filling knives for a number of years with good results. Currently prepping the ceiling edge, where it meets the wall, to remove the imperfections in order to get a crisp 90 degree angle between the ceiling and wall. Not only does this look nicer, it also makes the cutting in easier when I apply the different colour paint to the walls. Unfortunately, the stainless steel filling knives where leaving a metallic mark when press firmly against the white ceiling to level the filler, so thought I would try these plastic filling knives. Wow, these are fantastic and unbelievable value for the low price. These plastic tools allow you to smooth the filler really level by applying a little tension, so the face of the tool is almost flat to the surface, whilst picking up any excess filler. Then going over the filler a second time the surface is left so flat, that minimal sanding is required - ideal when sanding ceiling edges is such hard work.

Very good, however they would be much better if the ends were thinner (tapered) as they are a little thick. Good range of sizes. Good value for money.

These are brilliant for polyfilling holes in the walls very flexible not sharp so no need to worry about cutting ur fingers and can keep using them over and over again and easy to clean makes job easier instead of using a scraper or a knife like they did in the old days highly recommended

NO ISSUE WITH THE ITEMS but i cannot score higher as i cannot use them for what i need to I cannot see any issue with the items i had bought but they are not what i was hoping they would be Amazon and other online buying platforms are really good for many things, but on this occasion, i possibly need to visit the high street

The way these scrapers are made leaves very sharp pieces of excess plastic aka 'flashing' on the grip section. This can easily puncture your fingers if sufficient pressure is applied during use. Ouch! A minute spent removing these with some sandpaper, file, knife or deburring tool is well worth the time. Other than that, all good - cheap, cheerful, and did the job.
