The twice weekly treatment really does work, although I'm not too convinced about the more normal shampoo and conditioner in the set. I'm not sure they do much of anything with regards to blonde/white/grey hair, but the conditioner feels nice nonetheless.I started using Touch of Silver about 8 months ago. I'm a light honey blonde, but I wasn't back then. I was simply trying to neutralise brassyness without using bleach or dye from faded red hair I had over a year ago and this worked even for that, though very subtly. People often thought I'd dyed my hair a shade lighter after using this at that point, but I hadn't.As for how it works on my light honey blonde hair now... well, I didn't leave it on for longer than five minutes, but I still ended up with some white/platinum streaks. Looks like I did it on purpose and adds some interesting definition, so I'm fine with that, but be careful. I do have a platinum blonde friend who's used this for a while and at times she's looked like she's had a bad blue rinse, so always be cautious with how often you use it and for how long each time in regards to the weekly shampoo.

I have naturally dark brown hair but have recently been going through the process of lightening it with bleach. I’ve heard blue shampoos are good to reduce brassy and orange tones.I found after the first use it made my hair feel a lot softer and it looked less dry. As for the colour it definitely made a noticeable difference after two washes with this. It reduces orange colours which is great.The reason for 4/5 stars is because I feel that I definitely overpaid online , I found this set of three for less than £8 in supermarkets and home bargains so I would recommend shopping around.

I have light ashblond dyed hair. I have been looking for months for a good silver shampoo and conditioner. The first one I used was from the brand Guhl. It didn't do what it promised, making my hair less brassy. So after using Guhl, my hair was still yellowy with red undertones. When I looked on the internet I discovered Pro:Voke and I decided to give it a try. Not only is it cheaper.. (guhl is in the Netherlands between €7 (£6) and €9 (£7,70) per bottle) it works better too! The Twice a Week Brightener Shampoo, works wonders on the brassiness in my hair. After using Pro:Voke for two weeks my hair looks healthier and the color is now superb. My haircolor is now really light blond and silvery. So I am loving it!TIP! When I use the Twice a Week Brightener Shampoo, I leave it in for about 15 minutes. Don't leave it in longer than 15 minutes or use it more than twice a week. My hair started to get a purple shine when I left it in for longer than 15 minutes.

Received these really quickly and they were well packaged. The only thing I would say to the seller would be to try and avoid taping over the instructions on the bottles! I was in the bath, started washing my hair, put the intensive shampoo on, went to read the instructions and realised that where I'd taken the tape off to open the bottle the tape had stripped most of the text off! Having not used silver procts for years I realised I needed to know how long I should leave it on for, luckily the other half was at home and did a quick Google for me, it may sound petty but I would just say for first time users to make sure they are clear of the instructions before use! Other than that a good product and is working well to take the orange tint out of my hair after having gradually lightened from red to light blonde. Would definitely recommend and it's a good price for the bundle!

I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and I'm still undecided on the results. I have naturally light blonde hair, which over the years has started to darken a bit and go gingery. I wanted to get my original blonde back and get rid of the reddish tones, which I hoped this shampoo would do (judging by the reviews).First off, I love the smell. It can be quite strong but it's still very pleasant and my hair smells nice all day. Unfortunately, I've had mixed results with the colour of my hair. Some parts of my hair appear blonder (where my natural highlights are), but the darker areas have turned pinkish and look more brassy than before. I checked the bottle and it just says it's suitable for blondes and greys, it didn't specify that it was just for bleached hair but I'm wondering if that is the case. I've also found that it dries my hair out and makes it very frizzy and dull, which again I didn't expect judging by the reviews.I'm going to keep up with this for another week or so and see what happens, but so far I haven't quite got the results I wanted. Hopefully the pinky bits will wash out if I stop!

THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!So I missed being blonde so I went to the hairdressers and got a full head of highlights, she put loads in so basically all my hair is blonde. But the tiny little parts they left out looked maybe a little brassy I would say, so my natural hair color next to the highlights looked a little brassy. So I bought these online to keep my hair looking fresh and get rid of those little brassy tones and it works amazing! I used the treatment first and left that on for about 20 mins. You aren't meant to use these every time you wash your hair because it will turn it ashy and grey, so you are meant to use it with other shampoos and conditioners. When I do this I use a shampoo for colored hair along with the touch of silver conditioner.
