Lovely strings
Love these strings. They are worth more than my violin is, but they sound lovely when I play well and are so easy to get in tune. Wonderful strings.

Does the job!
I'm not a great violin player, my violin is a Stentor Verona. When I bought the violin it was strung with Pirastro Tonica, which are great strings, providing a great crisp and bright sound, for my needs (Irish Fiddle). However, I decided to re-string with Dominants and Wow my violin was transformed, what a great strong, still bright yet deeper tone. I realise that you must consider strings, bows, rosin, etc, etc, for your particular violin and needs but, I would highly recommend Dominants to bring on the sound quality of a low priced violin.

Fantastic quality and sound
Replaced some Pirastro Tonica, the E sounds much much better. Overall, the sound feels fuller and richer, though that could be a result of improved playing experience

The most popular violin string for a reason
Dominant are good quality "neutral" strings that let the violin shine through with its natural sound on the whole spectrum, without adding brightness or darkness of their own. Every time I tried different strings I always ended up going back to them. The 4 stars are because the E string is not great, most people replace it with a better e, I personally use a Zyex e but different Es work on different violins.

These were perfect, once you tie a double bow in this ...
Having grown weary of my shoes frequently becoming un-tied whilst walking about town, I went on Amazon in search of laces made of some sterner stuff. These were perfect, once you tie a double bow in this fine but strong wire there is no way it is coming undone. I particularly like the range of gauges that were included in the set; I use the thicker ones for my hiking boots, and my daughter loves the thinner (gauge "E" i believe) one for her ballet flats. I was surprised that you only get one of each lace in the set, but then I realised that since they are so long you can just cut them in half to lace a pair of shoes.

Really good price here!
As a professional violinist and teacher, I find these strings are affordable and I recommend them to my students and and notice a massive improvement in the sound on cheaper instruments. I notice thee are a number of amateur players on here posting reviews, so I feel it is worth pointing out that as with all strings, they will need a settling in period as they stretch out, so be sure to allow a couple of weeks before an exam for this to happen and for them to reach maximum resonance, as there is often a period of a tinny sound as they stretch. I recently purchased a very cheap instrument and these strings have made a world of difference to the sound. This is the best price I could find at the time for this product.

This product is super good. It came in three days even though it said it would take seven days. These strings sound beautiful and have a nice rich tone. Definitely worth it!

The best sound and playability. No squeaks with this wound E bundle!
I've tried other brands but nothing compares to my Doms! I have quit wasting money trying to find anything else. They go on easy and stay in tune. I had to change strings before my first post COVID gig. I ordered this set and they arrived as promised. I was lazy though and only got down to restringing the morning of my gig. I did have to check tuning after each song but over all they held great for brand new strings. I had not changed strings in 2 years, so the difference in tone was so noticeable. Now a week later they are just perfect and reliable. The tone and ease of playing makes practicing a pleasure. THese are not the most expensive strings you can find but are in the upper range, but as far as value, tone and long life there is nothing better!

Ottimo prodotto
