I just put onnnee 10 th generation ipad i received fir xmas was wondering why it had a notch up here is it supposed to go on the side ? camera on top

Top right opening is for the touch button. As long as you install it correctly, all should line up.

I'd say probably not. The glass is pretty thick. It depends on where the sensor is.

Make sure screen is lint free , line it up and let it go , use soft cloth to secure
