Nylon works very well.
I wanted to turn a Vango Extension Tent Nylon Fly sheet a brown colour rather than the day glo orange. I watched quite a few videos on youtube before purchase. Following the Rit Dyemore instructions to the letter I used an old beer kettle pot I had and carried out the dyeing in the garden.I tried the nylon bag first as a test piece, this was stirred for 15mins until I had achieved the colour I was looking for. Wow this product worked extremely well for my fabric.I have in the past used Dylon on cotton canvas tents which has worked well but am now tempted to purchase some normal Rit Dye to try instead. Only trouble being its double the price. For nylon this Rit Dyemore works a treat.

Bought to colour dye a polyester dog bed
Did it colour - yes. Solid colour - no - bit patchy but acceptable. However it was a pain to do having to boil it. Dye gets everywhere and is very hard to remove. Final result - looks fine. Just a pain to do compared to your Dylon that you just throw in the washing machine but I guess that’s down to trying to dye polyester!!

Great product
Really easy to use, worked brilliantly turning a light grey coat to a darker brown colour more in keeping with my outdoor activities.Basically a Fjallraven Jacket polycotton.I did follow the instructions exactly, maybe some people do not. With Polycotton you have to have the water really hot, also, make sure any product that was already on it to make it water repellant etc has been washed off, anything that stops liquid penetrating is going to be bad.

Waste of money / won’t work
Followed the instructions exactly, kept the item in the boiling solution for 60min stirring continuously,Unfortunately when washed all the dye came out and left my top patchy , this was on a polyester mix … ruined top and wasted my cash

Good product
I wasn't sure if I could use in my machine, as it is draw fed, rather than top loader, but I just poured in draw once the hot wash and vinegar had been in for 10 mins and flushed it down with hot kettle water. Immediately took draw out and cleaned.

Perfect!
The media could not be loaded. Synthetics are so hard to dye. This was exactly what I needed to salvage two of my favorite clothing items that were just not fit to wear anymore. I bought this to redye a white dress that I had bought for my bridal shower (stunning, slinky, dress I needed to wear it more than once, but white...eh) I had tried to dye it sandstone before but it was just too light to wear to a wedding IMO so I bought the chocolate brown and Oh. My. Goodness. I'm so excited to wear this to a friend's wedding in October. I also added my favorite atheliesure sweatshirt that had been stained from washing with something blue. I honestly didn't know if it would work but there is no sign of the blue stain and the color literally made it my favorite Cowell-neck all over again. Great for synthetic materialsNOTE: different materials dye differently. The stitching stayed white on the sweater (I love it personally) and the lace is drastically more chocolate than the polyester dress (again, personally, I love this look)

Strepitoso

Klare Empfehlung!
