Great value very nice looking. Brings a little life to your desk
For the price it doesn't get any better. Before this I had my old Logitech k120. It was a solid and reliable keyboard and mouse but pretty dull. The colours at night time are actually pretty useful as well as attractive, normally at night I would need to leave my light on to see the keys (until I got so used to the k120 I could type without even glancing)but turning off the lights and having your favourite colour illuminate your keyboard in 3 different brightness settings just removes that dullness you get with plain keyboards and adds some life to your desk. The mouse looks and feels very nice changing colour slowly but constantly. nothing like a flickering light, it gradually changes and almost feels like it's powered by some high powered High-Tec energy again just making your desk feel a lot more creative and adding some colour to replace blandness.Another review mentioned they thought it felt mechanical when they type. I agree with that it feels similar to a Typewriter but this is both good and bad. It feels pretty cool but as I type in the night now I feel like each press is making way too much noise. Most keyboards make a fair bit of noise but this one is or at least feels louder than my old k120. The same can be said for the mouse clicking. It feels and sounds more mechanical.Something to consider on my first use I started typing like I usually did. Like a rocket, not looking at my keys just pressing down in all the familiar places. My sentences turned out like this: yhe kjeys atre in as slifghtky diffweremt poissisioin to whgat im usaed to. (The keys are in a slightly difference position to what I'm used to)Honestly though it doesn't take long to master the keyboard but for the first few hours at least maybe days for some you may find you type mistakes often and you will find your self looking down at the keyboard more often until your used to it.Overall a very nice value product. It doesn't feel too cheap. The three colours chosen are very nice particularly the shade of purple they have, my favourite of the three. The mouse mat in the picture looks pretty good but for the price difference I didn't bother. its basically £10 for a mouse mat. Don't even need one. If you went to a supermarket you could get something like my Logitech k120 for about the same price. Wouldn't be a bad choice as its cheap and very reliable. Or you could go for this and bring some life to your desk.

Awesome products, awesome price!
I purchased this a long time ago, I honestly do not remember. I was too lazy too leave a review but I have worked up a habit of writing now so I have come back to this. I am typing on this keyboard right now and I still love it from the day I purchased this. I only grabbed it as an emergency replacement until I could save up for a new Razer set but I ended up keeping this. The only one single issue, is that the light colour you choose is not retained so when you restart your PC, it reverts to the initial red. Apart from that its awesome. The design is of the keyboard is average which is not a bad thing. The backlight is fairly bright and gives you the option to adjust the brightness along with the option of three colours as you can see from the seller images. The layout is UK! Which is what I love, the @ symbol belongs next to the shift key! The rest of the keys are laid out as you would expect but there are no specialised keys such as audio control and music play back for example. Typing is awesome, and loud, another thing I expect from a keyboard, if your not mechanical at least feel and sound like one! A great keyboard in my opinion. The mouse for me is more comfortable than the Razer Deathadder which was my previous one but it just doesn't have as much weight to it which is unfortunate. The other issue which is not a serious one for me is that the lighting is not adjustable, it just transitions from colours to colours mixed with a rainbowy type effect. But honestly it is still brilliant. The keyboard and mouse feels high end and they have lasted me a long time. For the price you will not find better, in fact it is better than a lot of the high end products out there.

No wonder its a best seller
Great price, nice piece of gaming kit, i like the way the keys are illuminated and has 4 brightness settingsnice grippy matt keys may prove harder to keep clean, but i rather have a nonslip surface. No useless media buttons just standard UK layout keys and 2 keys for color setting and brightness setting between Alt Gr and right CTRL keysthe high profile keys may not be to every gamer taste, but the quality seems very good for the price paid and you also get a good mouse with it, the board is not really great for typing same as good typing keyboards are not very good for gaming.Mouse texture feels good in hand and fits good for various types of games mainly for FPS but not good enough for MMO RPG, but i wish it was a bit heavier, the mouse is too lightthe dpi settings button is great and makes it very easy to change the mouse sensitivity during gameplayMouse has 4 dpi settings, can be changed by the button on top anytime, ranges: 800, 1200, 1600 and 2400 dpi (dots per inch, the higher number the higher sensitivity)4/5 because:-Keys are not properly illuminated through, even on high brightness some keys are very poorly illuminated and its hard to see what they represent-Mouse is too light, no weighting option like gaming mice usually have and the weight of the cable is dragging it-no color and brightness option for the mouse, it just keeps changing randomly and is a bit too bright and is distracting during games-the side buttons and weight of the mouse is very hard to get used to, mostly the side buttons, they are very badly positioned and the middle button is very stiff-Wish the WSAD keys would be in a different color like on many other gaming boardsIn summary its a great kit for the price considering that proper gaming keyboards like Razer cost a lot, so this is a good starter kit for a budget gamer, the mouse looks great, but its not really up to gaming standards, better consider one of the other proper gaming mice on the market and keep this one as a spare
