Q: How to turn the back lighting completely off on the X5? I can't make out the letters on the keys, they are transparent on grey keys.

I just turn up the room lighting.

Do believe it’s a metal of sorts but haven’t double checked.

Q: What kid of key caps can I use on these Box switches? Any type?

Any standard key caps for mechanical keyboards will work.

Q: Where can I get just the following for this keyboard? 2.4ghz USB Dongle (I lost mine)

I’d imagine going on Hexgears site to see if you can by asking their support team to see what can be done for it; should help at least a little.
