Clippasafe Cot Bed Insect Net

This is a quite a substantial sized net so should fit over most sizes of cot, though you might struggle to get it fully over a cot bed. It's secure, easy to fit and kept the mozzies at bay on our holiday to the far east. It provides additional peace of mind, particularly if you have young infants who may not be old enough to have all the necessary immunisations.

I bought this to stop my cats getting into my babies cotbed and it's done that job perfectly. However my baby isn't here yet and I don't intend on using it once she is, but I don't know easy it would be to take on and off if you were using it as an insect net with baby in the cot. It's not that easy to get it to stay on one end whilst you pull it over the other end but this maybe because we have a sleigh style cotbed. But it's fine once it's on. It'd probably be fine on a cot or a more square ended cotbed.

I bought this product as a last minute purchase before going on holiday with my 7 month old baby and was so glad that I did. The place we stayed had lots of mosquitoes so the cot net was essential. My baby was the only person in our group of 14 who didn't get bitten! Easy to use and would fit most all full sized cots and travel cots. Fastens with velcro straps round the legs. Elastic holds it in place even without fastening the straps. I left 2 fastened and 2 unfastened so I could easily lift my baby in the night for a feed.

Keeps midges at bay. Expensive for what it is.

My son was bitten by mosquitoes a few times and came up with such bad reactions. This keeps them away while he sleeps at night and gives me great peace of mind. Value for money and super easy to use. Fits perfectly over his cotbed.

Bought it for a trip to Portugal recently after reading reports about bad mosquitos in the area we were staying. I read an earlier review from someone that said their toddler couldn't tolerate it - with that in mind we tried it first at home. Our toddler didn't like it either initially so we just put it over one corner of his cot the first night after putting him down and over the course of the next week pulled it over bit by bit. By the end of the week he was reaching up and pulling it over the cot himself when we put him down -so cute! So if you are planning on getting this definitely I'd definitely recommend getting baba used to it first before going. We got bitten on the holiday but he didn't in the end so very satisfied with it.

Not sure what I was expecting but when I pull the net down there is a gap at the bottom by the floor. I hope the mosquitoes don't work that out otherwise it'll be useless. Otherwise, it fits over the cot nicely and is easy to use. Would be better if it had a velcro top or something to open and take baby out. UPDATE: My baby didn't get one mosquito bite throughout the whole summer in sunny Malta, so it did exactly what it was bought to do. Would still be good if I could get the baby out from the top but not sure how this would be achieved as velcro (my earlier suggestion!) is noisy. Would recommend.

safer, that's it, no mosqiutes any more. it's flexible net, that you can stretch it a little bit. highly recommended.
