What a great little punch this is. I got it after watching a YouTube on covering Graphic45 tags and this was shown as how to cut the area around the grommet. It's very sharp and works a treat. A definite 5 star recommendation. I've read the poor reviews and would comment that this is a PAPER cutter for crafting, such as card making and scrap booking, it's not up to cutting thicker items such as foam or vinyl and is too big for ring binders. If you are wanting to punch anything other than paper or cardstock, this is not for you.

This was intended for use on shrink plastic paper and works like a charm. It performed far worse on the normal printer paper used for layout testing, so I recommend a heavier weight paper or card as ideal for this punch, as anything flimsier than 120gsm will buckle under the weight of the punch and the cut isn't clean. The fact that this can be used upside down to position images correctly within the punched circle was ideal for the needs of the project worked on, and much easier than alternative options. Reasonably priced product which should last well. Locking mechanism for storage is highly appreciated.

A lot of reviews on here saying it doesn't cut, it makes imperfect circles, and so on. I've owned one of these for over a year, using it daily to cut inch squares on a multitude of papers. I invested in the inch circle as needs expanded. Let me be clear - I work in print. I use a LOT of papers ranging from coated stocks to rough recycled test paper. If ever there was an end-user to give one of these punches a proper thorough durability test, I more than qualify. The inch square cuts as good as it did on day one. The inch circle is cutting perfectly fine a week in used for hours a day. Firstly: The construction is SOLID. This is a better quality punch than any office ring binder hole punch you'd ever use. Solid plastics, solid metals. good strong spring. No crappy hinges or rivets. If you're the sort of individual that looks after your kit and doesn't just sling it in a box of things that will damage the die-cut underneath - you'll be owning an item that will serve you - as it has for me - a long time. The punch reaches a fair way into a page, as shown in my pictures. I've punched out papers ranging from as thin as tracing and crepe paper to thick watercolour card, and even thick clay-coated kraft packing card. The opening of the punch is about 1.2mm. It cuts at full depth. Obviously, it's not for cutting holes in tissue paper. Stacking papers for multiple cutting in-one can lead to inaccurate cuts, do them one at a time for best results. Cuts are clean enough - you can see standard paper cut in pictures. It's a hole punch, there is going to be slight burring of the edges. The bottom has no catchment tray - this is (I assume) so you can see where you are cutting if you use the punch in-hand. It is a fantastic item. Ignore the "can't open the box 1 star lolz" type reviews. Solidly recommended.

This is a sturdy strong punch so hopefully it will not fall apart with regular use. I've been using it often for two weeks now with no signs of any wear and tear on the workings of the punch itself. It punches through regular printer paper, thin card (eg cereal box) perfectly. It does struggle to punch through thinner paper such as wrapping paper without ripping it, but as another commenter here advised I put some card paper behind it and it cut both together perfectly. It doesn't punch through thin fabric eg cotton though it is a paper punch so I wouldn't expect it to. Overall I think it's a great punch and worth the money.

At first i couldn't see how to get the inner circle out of the cutter. There is a little plastic clip under the punch lever, pull this out and circle should fall out when you turn it upside down, you may have to help it out.. just as described, cuts well, good quality. Easy to use

Don't waste your money. It broke after a few uses and was blunt from the start. I have given one star only because I had to hit the stars to continue

I bought this EK Tools 2-inch circle punch to make my own espresso basket filters from Chemex paper. I use a Breville Barista Express, but the punched circles do not fit any of the stock baskets that came with my machine. They fit my aftermarket 53 mm baskets extremely well, so basket compatibility should be checked before purchasing. The punch feels solid and produces clean, consistent circles without tearing or leaving rough edges. The finished filters lay flat inside compatible baskets without curling or bunching, and using the punch is much easier than trying to cut circles by hand. The upfront cost is definitely higher than just buying premade espresso filters. The advantage is that the punch is reusable, and over time you are not stuck buying whatever paper quality, thickness, or brand happens to be available in premade circles. You can experiment with different filter papers and choose exactly what works best for your espresso setup. That flexibility is really what makes the tool worth owning.

The pricing is way too expensive. If your not n a hurry, go to Ali express and get it. It won’t even be half the price. It works well. But the first one I got was bent and I couldn’t use it, so I returned it and got a replacement.

Die Stanze funktioniert ganz gut. 80g Papier lässt sich jedoch einzeln nicht sauber ausstanzen, da sollte man dann 2-3 Blätter nehmen.
