Hagen Vision Bird Bath Cage

I was looking for a syrian hamster bath with one hole as my hamster has a tendency to wee at the back and straight out of the exit hole of my current hamster bath. This bird bath makes a perfect hamster bath. It’s large enough for a syrian and I love that I can remove it and open the top and clean it all out and then being plastic it cleans up nicely. It has a recessed entrance so that not too much sand gets out but I still find my hamster tracks it out everywhere on his paws so I have put the bath into a plastic container to minimise it. Highly recommend as a hamster bath!

Good idea having a bath that fits inside the cage. Unfortunately my bird won't use it. I tried taking the top off and placing the bottom half on the bottom of the cage and he still won't use it. I think i just have a dirty bird. The bath is supposed to contain all the splashes and it looks like it will. Fits together easy and clips on the cage easy too.

Does its job. Didn't fit my cage as the wire was too thick, however i'd imagine it would otherwise do a good job. Recommend you have a large cage for this bath as it sits internally and takes up a lot of space.

Well made but I could not, for the life of me, get this product to fit on either of my budgie cages.I am, instead, using it as a little shelter at the bottom of the cage for the birds should they want to use it.It looks nice and the design is good at keeping water from getting everywhere, it's just a shame I couldn't get it to latch onto any of my cages.

Great bird bath! Only disappointment is I keep my 3 budgies is a bigger cage and the bath will not clip onto the cage as the poles are too big! So having to zip wire it on! It does fit on my little budgie cage though, so will be fine for those who have a budgie cage!

Although the build quality is good and it fits well to the cage, my budgie won't go near it, either when the bath is placed inside or outside the cage, and even with the roof off and millet placed inside! I think if it wasn't made of such a dark colour things would be different.

We have a Hagen cage which we are more than satisfied with for a budgie which we neither desired or wanted but as I found it in our garden and rescued it, we feel that we are fated to retain him. After a night in a cat carrier, "Sammy" is now firmly established in a large Hagen cage. We have purchased a number of items for him, including a bird bath which did not fit correctly on our cage. I decided to purchase a dedicated Hagen bird bath: this item.I am extremely disappointed with this product, firstly price: we didn't expect a lot for our money and in this regard the Hagen has proved us right. Secondly construction - the clip mechanism to hold the bath securely fell off whilst trying to install it on the outside of our cage to test fitting it; yesit fitted back on, but it is hardly robust, thirdly, placement - ideally it would be beneficial to place the bath in the same position as most generic bird baths are placed - in the door entrance, situated on the outside, with a fixing mechanism to latch it in place - not the Hagen, you have to place the whole bath into the cage, thus distressing the bird when you insert and remove it, plus reducing the amount of space they have to move around in the cage. Considering Hagen's reputation as leaders in the field of Avarian management, I really think that they got this very wrong.I am sending this item back for a refund - I really am disappointed in this product, which I only purchased as the spacing on Hagen cages is not compatible with generic bird baths - I can only suggest that this item should be avoided.

Budgie loves this bath. Easy to fix to cage. Easy to clean. A clear option would be nice.
