lovely healthy snack food
I have always loved dried fruit and I wondered if I should order such a big bag. But when my order arrived I was very pleasantly surprised and delighted with the superior quality of the product. Any thoughts of giving away some of the fruit have been deleted in my head, as I am keeping it ALL for myself. Too godd to share!

Very dry and leathery in the pack; does not much improve once soaked and cooked
Not the best choice in retrospect although the most expensive of its weight. Most of the fruits were very leathery, even after cooking, the sole exception being the apricots.The mixture was very reliant on apple slices which comprised about half the bag with a few each of apricots, prunes, pears and peaches to make up the weight. If wanted, figs, mango and berries may be added as may a few extra apricots and prunes; dried pears and peaches are less easy to find alone. The next purchase will be from another brand and probably less expensive.Not best value, texture or flavour!

The fruit tastes fine, though there is a funny smell coming off it when you open the bag. I put it down to the sulpher agent they put on it to keep it fresh. My only other minor dislike of it is that it's heavy on the prunes.

On appearance, these were fine, came quickly sealed packaging, however they are manufactured on a line that handles a range of allergens, something that is not specified in the information provided. so while they look fine I cannot tell if they are good or not as cannot try them!
