Great looking
Gorgeous soft pink colour, not too brash, looks fab. Not too bulky width wise, so doesn't take too much room up on kitchen work surface..Easy to use, great tasting coffee. Is expensive but would highly recommend.

Superb
The Nespresso Citiz Automatic Pod Coffee Machine with Milk Frother by Magimix in black has become an indispensable part of my daily routine. Its sleek design is both modern and compact, fitting seamlessly into my kitchen without taking up too much counter space. The black finish adds a touch of sophistication, making it not just an appliance but a stylish addition to my home decor. One of the standout features of this machine is its ease of use. From the very first use, it was clear that the Citiz was designed with user convenience in mind. The pod insertion and ejection system is straightforward, and the machine heats up remarkably quickly, allowing me to enjoy my coffee without a lengthy wait. The one-touch buttons for espresso and lungo options are intuitive, making it simple to brew the perfect cup every time. The included milk frother takes this machine to the next level, enabling me to create a variety of coffee drinks, from creamy lattes to frothy cappuccinos. The frother works quietly and efficiently, producing smooth, velvety milk foam that enhances the overall coffee experience. Cleaning the frother is also hassle-free, which is a big plus for those busy mornings when time is of the essence.Performance-wise, the Nespresso Citiz excels in delivering consistently high-quality coffee. The 19-bar pressure pump extracts the rich flavors and aromas from the coffee pods, resulting in a truly satisfying cup. I also appreciate the wide selection of Nespresso pods available, allowing me to explore different flavors and intensities to suit my mood. The machine handles all these varieties with ease, maintaining the same excellent performance regardless of the pod I choose.Additionally, the machine's energy-saving mode is a thoughtful feature, automatically turning off after a period of inactivity, which is both environmentally friendly and practical. The large water tank means fewer refills are needed, making it convenient for multiple servings throughout the day.Overall, the Nespresso Citiz Automatic Pod Coffee Machine with Milk Frother by Magimix in black is a fantastic investment for any coffee lover. Its combination of stylish design, ease of use, and exceptional coffee quality makes it a standout choice. Whether you're looking to enjoy a quick espresso shot or a luxurious latte, this machine delivers with excellence every time.

Lovely machine, lovely coffee!
After 1 month's use, still very pleased with this purchase. The machine looks very elegant, and came attractively boxed and well-protected in a presentation pack, with a sample pack of 14 Nespresso pods of various flavours. We have experimented with these and other brands and strengths of compatible pod, and decided on our favourite (Sainsbury's Columbian - about half the price of the Nespresso branded pods). There are 2 settings for the quantity of coffee dispensed - espresso (about 40ml) and lungo (about 110ml). We prefer the latter. These are controlled by the 2 buttons on top of the machine, which also switch on the machine, and have further functions when cleaning etc. The instructions also say you can adjust the serving amounts to your taste using the buttons, but for us the factory settings seem fine.Operation is simple and straightforward. . After ensuring the water reservoir is sufficiently full, you press the LH button on top of the machine to switch on, and after a very short wait, the flashing light goes full on, indicating the machine is ready to use. Open the top lever, and drop a fresh pod in. Don't forget to put a cup under the dispenser! Closing the lever (a firm push) sets the pod and perforates it so the water can be forced through. You then select the size of serving desired - LH button for espresso, RH button for lungo. The drink is dispensed immediately (takes about 10 seconds for the lungo). We were aware of some comments that the serving was not hot enough, but it seems fine to us (who wants to burn their mouth on a scalding drink?). The used pod drops into a removable drawer underneath when you next open the lever, leaving the mechanism free for the next pod. The drawer holds about 8-10 used pods, and is easy to remove, empty and clean when full. The transparent removable water receptacle at the back of the machine holds plenty of water for 10 lungo servings, and it is easy to see when a top-up is needed. We are using bottled water because the tap water in our area is particularly hard, and we want to reduce limescaling. Volvic seems to be widely recommended, as it is said to have the right balance of minerals for taste. All in all, a very worthwhile purchase. Can't comment on reliability, or life, but we are very pleased so far. It's not the cheapesat coffee machine, but also isn't by any means the most expensive, and the Amazon price was very good for this model.

Makes really tasty coffee, a few cons to this machine
Pros:+This machine along with the aeroccino makes really tasty coffee. I'm a type 1 diabetic so the fact I can make cappuccinos with unsweetened almond milk is such a win.+Looks stylish in the kitchen and isn't too bulky. I was surprised how small this machine is.+Has a pod bin built in that the used pods go into automatically so you don't have the take them out before each use, this holds about 10 pods.+Large selection of pods at very affordable prices, I can get 10 pods for cheaper than one coffee at a coffee shop+Can use any milk you want to e.g. almond, oat, soya, coconut etcCons-VERY loud! I was shocked the first time I used it how loud it actually is. I'm used to it now though-the machine vibrates a lot. You can't put a mug/glass underneath the spout and walk away whilst a drink is being made, in case the vibration of the machine makes it fall off the tray (nespresso should have added sides to the tray so this can't happen)-there's no warning that the water level is low. I was making a drink and the water ran out so the drink was not made properly. The water tank is at the back and I have my machine in the corner so quite hard to tell when the water level is lowAll in all a great machine that makes really tasty coffee. I am happy with my purchase regardless of the cons I have found with the machine.
