This gave life back to my old PSX games. As a youth I didnt think to put games back in their cases, so alot of them were pretty scuffed up. As long as you follow the directions it does a fantastic job buffing out the Disc. It does not get rid of deep scratches, but it works well enough to get them readable again.

Received this today and I started to clean and repair my CD Collection. This works perfect. It cleans each disc automatically and stops when it's completed. I used the the scratch pad a long with the buffer pad and my CD'S are scratch free and sounds excellent.My old CD/DVD cleaner was a plastic piece of junk. This is the best for your CD/DVD Collection. Honestly, this dose work, idk what anyone else is talking about. My disk were clean and playable after. Thank you to who ever made this. O my problem with it is it’s really load and sometime takes 4 or 5 goes at a disk. Like this made my dogs break out in hives out of fear for it, granted my dog is scared of a fly but, that’s not the point. Truly, what do you expect form this it is not $200-$400 which is from what I have gained from looking on the internet, is what you are going to pay If u want one that won’t take long and is quit. So, you pay for what you get.

Normally I'm not big on giving reviews. But I need to make an exception in this case. I had a Series CD from MASH, which would play save one episode. I noticed a minor scratch on the surface, not very deep, that I felt may have been the problem. The rest of the DVD worked fine.I searched the internet for a repair and this one came to the top, plus it was on Amazon. I ordered it and when I received it I read the instructions, which were not very in depth. I followed them and saw that there were many circles on the disk. The instructions said this would happen and not to worry. When I attempted to play my DVD, the DVD player would not recognize the entire disk. It could not be read. I even tried placing the DVD in my PC, with the same result.I wrote to the person listed under amazon and he stated I needed to follow the instructions. When I replied I followed them to the letter he wrote back to clean the heads of the DVD player. After doing that the same result.Now I am now having to buy the entire 8th season again to have a fully working set of DVDs. I would not recommend using, or purchasing, this product if you hope to keep you DVD or CD working.

Performance is not great. It's ok. Does not work on deep scratches on cd's.

Great ProductI have actually successfully restored a couple of my DVDs that had damaged and they look like new. I also like that all the components store in the machine. It is very easy to use, you just put on the pads in the order needed, close the lid and press the button and the machine automatically turns off.

This resurfaced and repaired a disc I bought at a thrift store. I bought a disc for $2 I had almost no hope of working due to the amount of scratches some of which were rather deep. The scratching on the surface of this disc I would put at a 6/10 for severity, you would need concerted effort in order to really scratch it more. However after running the Buff and Repair cycle twice and the clean cycle once it's made my copy of A Knights Tale read flawlessly. Following the instructions is very easy. This device functions very well so far but it's still early days. It cleans the surface of the disc very well. The device is somewhat noisy but that's to be expected. I was hesitant based on how cheap the device is and some other the reviews but I am very much impressed with the product so far.

It does actually work... Provided it is used properly. I tried to use it the same way my old memorex worked, and it didn't at all. That is, I attempted to skip the red wheels first and go straight to the yellow repair set. The red wheels actually buff out the imperfections, and the yellow would appear to seal it or fine polish at the least. I used this product on a DVD from the library that was clearly well abused and unable to load in a stand alone and a PC DVD drive. after using this machine, it was completely readable in all devices I attempted it in!
