Great display for the elderly
This watch was advertized for people with impaired vision. However my eyesight is reasonable for an octogenarian but I do like a display with large numbers and this watch provides this in spades. The display gives just the date (two letters for day and its date but no month) and the time hh/mm/ss. Nothing else clutters the display. (The month is spoken when pushing the date button.)The voice which tells the time at the touch of a button is very clear and is useful to me when it is too dark to see the display. There is an alarm function which I have not tried yet. The watch body is robust in stainless steel and the watch strap is an expanding steel bracelet and which I find very comfortable.Overall I am very pleased with this watch and have found nothing I dislike about it. Good value.

Good, apart from one glaring omission.
Hearkent Atomic Digital Talking Watch TG2117 LCD. The manufacturers have got this watch almost correct - there is only one glaring omission. The watch display is good, clear and easy to read - even without my glasses on. The watch display is not backlit, but this is not necessary as it will tell you the time verbally. The time and date talking works, is effective and clear. The talking menu system is effective and, along with the instructions sheet which is in adequate English, makes setting up the watch OK.The watch does receive the UK MSF clock signal OK, but it has to be in just the right place overnight to do so. However this is more an issue with the MSF transmission and reception in southern England rather than the watch - I have less problems with receiving the DCF signal from Germany than I do with the UK MSF signal from Cumbria. The glaring omission is that I cannot find a way to set the watch into 24 hour mode. The display has the necessary elements to display the time in 24 hour mode, but there seems to be no menu option for changing the 12/24 hour mode. As many of us live in a 24-hour world this is a serious shortcoming.

Excellent value. Great watch!
I bought this for my dad who has Alzheimer’s. He loves it! Good value for money! The display is big so that he can see it clearly too!

Works as advertised, but no 24hr set.

Excellent watch.
Nice display. Excellent wave reception. I like the fact that you can see BOTH Day and Date as well as the time, all in one go. NO 24HRS THOUGH. The strap can easily be changed if you wish to do so. All in all a good buy.

Well made and good value for money
Talking watch purchased for a 98 year old (F) with sight and hearing challenges. We are very happy with the watch, it performs as expected. Numbers are large and clear and the talking voice is very understandable. Would have preferred a slightly louder option but then that might have annoyed others nearby, so maybe a reasonable compromise. It appears robust and is easy to put on the wrist. One other comment is that the strap is a little to long for a very skinny wrist depsite being adjusted to the shortest it can be. Overall initially very happy with our purchase.

Didn’t update time as it should
Was ok until the clocks went forward and then it did not update, which was the whole reason for buying it
