Like many other items, I ordered this based on a scan of the ad and I didn't study all the fine details - it's just a light so I'm not going to spend too long going over the points of it.The lamp itself seems pretty decent quality. The light it emits is quite directional and only illuminates a small area, would be fine as a reading light or useful to light up a small area where you are working on a workbench, which is what I use it for. Only used for an hour so far but see no reason for it to fail.What really let the product down for me was the fact that it doesn't come with a plug. I appreciate (now that I've come back to check) that it does mention it's USB in the images and that it does say in the small print that the adaptor isn't included, but it's frustrating as I now have to buy a USB adaptor to set it up properly (it's currently borrowing my phone charger)Would be better if the title said "USB Lamp" or similar. Or if they just included it.Also, and it's a minor point of me as it's on a workbench where looks aren't important, but on the clamp there are these two silver/black bands. Again they are in the picture but they are just a bit odd. I'm guessing that they are to protect whatever you attach it to. But seems like a last minute quick fix.All in all, not a bad product, but seems a bit unfinished. Put an adaptor in with it and replace the bands with proper glued on rubber or something similar and it'd be 5 star

Well-made, compact and good value. The clamp is strong and works well, and the flexible neck holds its position effectively. The cable is rather short and, being a USB cable, cannot be lengthened as easily as a conventional 240v cable could, but USB extensions are available for a couple of pounds. The brighter of the light settings is good for reading at close quarters (the spread of light is not wide), but the dimmer setting is not really of any great practical use unless want a rather dim light for mood effects. Having initially been sent out-of-date stock with only one colour of light, the vendor replaced the three lamps I ordered with the correct product: the white light replicates something close to daylight, and the warmer light is a more soothing shade for evening use: both are very effective. I am now very pleased with this product and would recommend it.

This is our second clip-on LEPOWER lamp, although the first (a black one) is still going strong. The original was bought to replace a vastly inferior IKEA lamp and we've been so impressed that there was no hesitation going with the same brand again. The white one actually improves on the style where the neck meets the light at the bottom, as this one seems to be easier to point in different directions and can't unscrew itself (as the black one can). The rubber coating is also great as we're using this on our 8-year old's bed.Really can't fault it. The two different light colours and brightness settings are great, and it's easy to get hold of a cheap USB extension cable if you want to plug this thing in a long way from a plug — certainly easier than extending the mains cable. If we find anywhere in the house that could benefit from a clip-on light, we'll definitely be buying this brand again.

I have a Yamaha full-size digital piano and needed a bright light with uniform, wide output so that I could see the music in my dimly-lit study. This lamp works perfectly for that application. It clips to the windowsill behind the piano and I can bend the gooseneck so that it illuminates the music stand area in a uniform manner.2 brightness settings and 2 colour temperatures are also useful. When I'm not playing the piano but just want some mood lighting in the room, I can switch the lamp to the 'dim' and 'warm' settings.

This is very solidly-made item. It is fully functional and will probably not disappoint. In particular the clamp is excellent, it grips firmly on anything up to around 3 cm wide. My only gripe is that the stated 8 watts power is not true. It runs off the supplied 5 volt 0.5 amp adaptor, so 2.5 watts max, which with LEDs yields say 18 watts tungsten equivalent lighting. But it is OK for reading if kept reasonably close.

This was lovely, but bulb did not last very long and could not find a way into it to replace bulb did write in about this and got no acknowledgment at all. Very disappointing.

I got two of these for my hobby studio so i can see better and film tutorials and one of them is perfect for the job and i am happy with the product but the other one I ordered came broken in the box and i was gutted as I really need two, i have to send this one back and order another one when the money comes back to me but this means i have to wait for another week so this is why i give it a lower rating then I would have if it wasn’t broken. I will re review this item when i have a new second one as i cant work with just one.

Very good light with a number of options - it has two light settings - a "white" light and a warm light which has a more of an orange glow and is supposed to be more representative of daylight...am not sure about that but it's defintitely not as harsh as the white light. For each of these you can choose bright or dim settings. You can use either mains or USB to run it, but it's not rechargeable so does need to be plugged into a power source to operate. The light is good quality and constant, no flickering. The long neck is completely flexible and once bent into shape stays put. The clamp is strong and sturdy and unlike clip on reading lamps I've purchased in the past once clipped in place, it has stayed in place and not had that annoying tendancy some have to gradually slip off.
