What is the maximum thickness this can handle? Unit says 100 or 75 presumably x2 for both sides. Some comments say 250. No guesses please!

Hi, below is the detailed parameter for your reference: maximum pouch width: 340mm maximum pouch thickness: 2*125micron (total 250) maximum laminating thickness: 0.6mm

Is there a video to show setup and operation?

Don't need one, plug in, switch on, wait for green light, open pouch of the correct size, slide in photo, feed into machine closed end first. Job done. Don't forget to switch off when finished. It is that simple.

Does it need a carrier

We have been using the laminator pouches straight into the machine. I checked the manual and this states "Place the item being laminated into a laminating pouch …………….. The ready indicator will glow green when the laminator reaches the operating temperature. Insert the pouch and its contents straight into the machine, leading with the folded edge." No mention of a carrier being required. Hope this helps.
