Play Your Ocarina Book 1 'Starting Off' : Basic Skills and Tunes

The book itself is fine and has a good range of songs, it is the compulsory book for my daughter at school. She lost the first book and i had to buy another one hence the second hand buy.The book I received had the same same songs etc. but I received the previous edition! the teacher didn't mind! but it could have been a problem. beware when buying of second hand sellers!

good for kids.Teaches them a few simple songs for a 4 hole ocarina, including twinkle twinkle, jingle bells, and more.Does this first showing pictures of the ocarnia showing which holes to cover for which notes, then switches to musical notation, but using a square underneath each note highlighting the wholes still.

full of nice tunes to learn and easy tuition ,was second hand book but came in good condition

Bought this with a 12-hole ocarina from Amazon. Book is quite thin and the fingering guide is specific for the type of ocarina in the picture on the front. As such we weren't able to use it for the 12-hole traditional ocarina we had purchased.

Does the job of making the ear piercing sound from the Ocarina slightly more palatable. Only joking my daughter sounds lovely playing the tunes over and over and over and over again. Good buy.

This was a present for my Grandson who is a fan of all the Zelda games. Using this book he has learned to start playing the Ocarina and thoroughly enjoyed it.
