I've just weighed out the Nido recommended weight for 250ml and this works out at about 4 level tablespoon measures. You would therefore need about 8 tablespoons for a pint. Try it with your measures and adjust till it tastes right!

It depends on the g/kg bought. There is 400g, 900g and 2.5kg tins. The price differs.
