Any marine vhf antenna will work but the longer the better

My battery is a 110 amp car battery and had no issues at all.

What aerial do I need for this radio as the connection on the one I have doesn't fit?

you must not have the standard male socket. Biggest problem with this vhf radio; it does not have Marina Chanel P1 or Ch37.

Does this have a dual watch function. Ie on channel 10 but watches 16 aswell.

NO duel watch....also no M1 or 37 !!!!
