Well... It works!
I wasn't expecting much, I was worried thinking the adhesive would wear out rather quickly and this would just become a few lumps of plastic but it sticks surprisingly well and you are given a small roll of double sided sticky tape rather than something that is pre-added to the product which while some people may think that's just extra steps I think it's fantastic as when the adhesive does wear out you have the stuff ready to replace it. Pros: * Blocks the switches very well, I find it very difficult to press without using a tool and still has easy access * Comes with excess tape for when it stops sticking * Perfect for rented properties that want to get into making a smart home but don't want to change the wiring * Cheap Cons: * Doesn't look fantastic * It's a hard fit on my plug sockets as the plug will get in the way meaning I have to slant the plastic, still works but much better on switches "Rate Features" Asks me to rate motion detection... 1 star because it doesn't have or need it? XD but yeah everything else is 5 stars. It works. About to order some more of these

Perfect if you have Hue devices
I bought these to stop my partner switching off the light switches despite us having Phillips Hue through the house linked to remotes and Alexa... Probably something many 'techies' have experienced. I wanted a cheap and simple solution without having to remove or blank off my light switches and this was PERFECT. Installation is simple and the pack comes with a roll of transparent double sided tape that you apply and then stick these over the switch. The tape is very sticky and seems to be a good job holding them on. I have those slightly curved switches (UK) rather than perfectly flat and these still work really well. The reason for only 4 stars? I personally think these are a little over priced. You get three in the pack but they are literally just tiny bits of plastic with a bit of tape, Effectively you're paying £1 per item then a £1 for shipping which isn't the end of the world but I reckon is they were about £1 cheaper I would feel better about it. Would I buy again? Most certainly, even if it's just to watch my partner try and turn the light off with this over the top!

Great switch cover - recommended for those with Smart Light setups.
I bought this switch lock cover after upgrading my office lights with Ikea Tradfri Smart Lights. With these smart light systems (or others like the Phillips Hue lighting system), you leave your light switch on all the time and control the light with either an app or a separate remote. This is great except after years of repetitive action, we are conditioned to fondle the wall for a light switch when walking into a dark room! Most smart lights come with wallmounts for remotes but it doesn't change the position of the existing light switch (see the attached picture). I debated getting a blanking plate or a key operated light switch like those used in public buildings but after a bit of searching I came across Light switch covers. Most of the switch covers I saw were black and would stand out like a sore thumb against the white switch. This cover is semi-translucent and blends in really well. Its a small strip of plastic which fixes above and below the switch using double sided tape (provided with the covers). In the pack you get three switch covers, some tape and a little plastic key which lets you turn the switch on and off without removing the cover. Some reviews state it is not very sturdy and the switch can still be pressed through the plastic. This is true to some degree; If you prod at your light switch with enough anger and force that even Master Yoda would be convinced you are on the dark side, then yes, you can press the switch (or more likely, dislodge the light switch cover so that it falls off). However, if you push a light switch normally, without fire in your heart, aching in your bones and a burning in your soul, it works perfectly - you fumble for the switch, prod it and realise it's covered - behaviour correction at it's finest! The cover will also have a little flex as it doesn't have sides (to allow it to be used as a middle switch cover). Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and think I will be getting some more as my smart lighting adventure continues!

Brilliant idea, not great functionality
Brilliant product, not sure how the manufacturer can charge so much, but it has made life with carers much easier, I can block off the switches I don't want them to touch. Now I know they work well I am going to get more for my home and also for my mums who has dementia. These really are a brilliant idea, just wish they were cheaper or came in cheaper larger packs for all your household needs. UPDATE: after using for a couple of months now, they have had to be stuck on with former double sided tape, they come off very easily after a few weeks of use, and easily pull off, so not the brilliant solution I was looking for, would still recommend as I've not found a different solution that is better yet.

Handy for smart light switches
Handy little cover have knocked off 2 stars because it’s extremely expensive for what it is, plus it took such a long time to arrive.

Would definitely but again
I don’t leave 5* reviews very often, but these are super! If I had to pick at something, I guess they don’t look the smartest. But it’s just a light switch cover so it’s not meant to look designer. But it does exactly what it says on the tin. Clean and dry the switch, apply the double sided tape to the switch cover, stick it on, done!. If you need to switch the light on and off the thin slot in the middle works. Can either push a plastic card in or a very thin flat screwdriver works. You can also reach the switch from the sides but this risks pulling the switch off. Had these stuck on for almost a year now and not a single one has come off. But if they do, there’s spare tape to reapply them which is a massive plus for me. A repose to some of the bad reviews on here that I disagree with: Doesn’t stick and just falls off - I guess these people don’t know how to correctly apply a sticker. You have to clean and dry the surface before applying. Stickers don’t stick to wet or dirty surfaces. Plus if it falls off, there’s extra tape so just put it straight back on! Flimsy and will break easily - Don’t know what one they have but mine doesn’t give that impression at all. They feel pretty solid and would only break if you smashed/bumped an object into them

Great value covers which will last until smart switches come down in price
If like me you are venturing into the world of smart home lighting be it Phillips, Hive, Nest etc you will have come across the issue where your system is smart until someone switches off the light at the wall--- then your bulb is not smart any more it is just OFF! SO one option is to replace switches with 'smart' switches by the likes of Lightwave however in certain cases I am not able to for aesthetic reasons or where the switch is more than 2-gang. For this very reason I purchased a 3 -pack which fortunately for me is exactly matches the number of smart bulbs I have! In the packet you receive 3 switch locks, a switch tool (which will get lost!--all it does is allow you to operate the switch through the cover) and a roll of double sided clear tape. The roll itself will do about 100 switches so it seems over kill and I would have preferred to have just been given 6 ready cut to size stickies. However that is a minor niggle. The switch covers were easy to fit, and more importantly fitted perfectly on my standard white MK switches. I also have some brushed metal switches with plastic inserts and those are clearly just a couple of millimetres longer because although it fitted it did not feel quite so secure. However £3 for 3 switches although not great value is still a great option and trivial in comparison to the cost of being an early adopter in the smart home world.

Works well
Used next to a plug socket to prevent accidental turn off. Easy to apply tape. Stuck well. Very happy
