Vinyl Record Cleaning Kit - 5-in-1 Vinyl Cleaner Kit Includes Record Brush, Stylus Cleaner, Cleaning Solution, Nylon Brush & Metal Case

This Boundless audio record cleaning kit includes everything you need to do a detailed job cleaning records. It does in fact include the LABEL PROTECTOR, which I did not see in the description, or in any of the product photos. I did see the label protector in some reviews, which left me a bit confused, but the kit did include one. The cleaning solution does an excellent job removing the dirt from the grooves, and dries quickly. I use the velvet brush first (which by the way is a nice length fitting the size of the record whilst also being comfortable in your hand) to distribute the solution on the record and into the grooves, then I use one of the microfiber cloths to wipe away the damp and dirt. The other cloth I use as a barrier between the record and the table, it makes a nice mat, and does not scratch the record. The microfiber brush does shed a bit, but so does most other record brushes. Just make sure to carefully pick away and lose bristles before using. The brush does a good job removing surface dust, and a bit of static from off the record. The stylus brush also does a good job removing dust accumulation from the needle. Overall an excellent kit, I would recommend this to anyone who has nothing to clean records with, because this kit has everything.

First, let me say this kit includes a small brush which is used to clean dust off the larger brush. (for real) My friend, who found that funny, has recently purchased this cleaning kit and now he too does the brush-cleaning-the-brush routine! Hilarious. That said, the little brush is a useful addition to this kit.Overall I consider this cleaning kit a good buy, tho I am not convinced on whether the cleaning liquid is leaving a film on my vinyl records. After more cleanings I'll come back here and adjust the liquid's score up or down. [ 3-22-2024 UPDATE: After many cleanings, I am now happy with the cleaning fluid ]The main brush is perfect length, on a full size 33 rpm vinyl record, the velvet pad reaches from the edge of the center label to the outer edge of the record. Sweet. The velvet pad is flat, as it should be. (rather than arched as are some other brushes) Not sure whether the pad’s fabric is "velvet" as advertised. The included accessory brushes (a cartridge brush, plus a small brush for cleaning the velvet on the large brush) are both okay, but their handles should be wood (like the wooden handle on the main brush) rather than plastic, especially at the sixty dollar price for this kit. Also I would have liked to see a statement on whether the plastic is free of BPA and other harmful chemicals. Overall I love this kit, tho I agree with other reviewers about the high price of sixty dollars. The metal case looks great and is very nice to have. This is truly an excellent cleaning kit for your vinyl and stylus. Multiple, useful tools for cleaning your records a variety of ways--and tools for cleaning your tools. I've just gotten back into vinyl, and this kit makes sure I can clean up vintage discs for suitable playback. Of course if you need to do some deep-cleaning, an ultrasonic record cleaner will do a better job than this. But if you take care of your records, this is all you need for most purposes. I'd definitely buy this kit again if I were looking for a reasonably priced but very capable kit--excellent value for money!

Comes in a nice metal box for storage. Good quality velvet brush, cleaner and cleaning brush as well as a stylus cleaning brush.

This kit is awesome. I’m amazed how much better I was able to get some 50 year old vinyl with sticky kid fingerprints (mine) and more, on them to sound. Get it.

There is NO better quick record cleaner than this one. I worked in commercial radio as a DJ for 40 years and EVERY station I worked for had these exact record cleaners next to the turntables. Used dry it is great for a deep cleaning of dust. Give the soft cleaner a spray or two and it gets the fingerprints or more difficult filth. There are lots of different cleaners out there and I am sure all of them do their thing. But for what it's worth, from someone who had to clean vinyl records every 4 minutes for a lifetime career playing the hits, you can't go wrong with this.

Superb combination of products in an attractive box. Since I keep my records very clean in high-quality inner sleeves, I mostly use just the carbon brush to remove surface dirt and that's usually enough. Note that the carbon brush is very soft so you just place it in contact with the surface and move it to the edge over a couple of revolutions (if you press down on it even a little the plastic rim will contact the record surface--yikes!). I used the needle brush ones as well to removed accumulated lint on the stylus. The box is attractive enough to keep on my cabinet (though I had to put stick-on felt discs at the bottom so that the rim of the metal box wouldn't scratch the wood surface). It's clearly a well-designed and well-thought-out product and while I haven't used the solution and main cleaning brush yet, I don't doubt it will also be of high quality.

Grabbed this for my first set of records! So easy to use with multiple options for cleaning depending on the level of dirt on your record. I use the brush for a quick clean before and after using records. You get a great value and many options for cleaning for the price! It’s kept my records in great shape.
