I love this. I was so tired of the open end of these covers rotating around and catching me on the neck when I tried to do squats. The velcro holds together very well so it doesn't matter if the opening moves

I returned another Parnell pad I had ordered because the velcro straps were separate pieces. This was annoying because I had to fully removed each strap to put on and take off the barbell pad. This one has velcro flaps built in which is so much easier and eliminates the risk of misplacing or forgetting the velcro. This pad is thick and does it’s job. I also really like the fabric cover because it doesn’t stick to the skin and feel weird like the foam ones.

My son uses for his squats. Great thickness and comfort.
