Teknor Apex-4006-25 Zero-G 1/2" X 25', Blue

Purchased for my motorhome. Just used first time and leaked at coupler. Unfortunately was 2 days beyond to able to return. NO NOT PURCHASE.

I recently picked up the Teknor Apex-4006-25 Zero-G hose, and it's a great hose. This innovative hose is a real game-changer. First off, the weightlessness is remarkable. I can easily maneuver it around the campsite without feeling like I'm lugging around a heavy snake. The durability is also impressive. Despite its lightweight design, it's incredibly tough and kink-resistant, which means no more frustrating interruptions while getting water to the RV or when I'm washing the truck. And speaking of washing the truck, the flexibility of this hose is fantastic. It effortlessly reaches every nook and cranny, making cleaning a breeze. The blue color adds a nice touch of style, and the 25-foot length is perfect for my needs. Plus, it's easy to store thanks to its compact design. Overall, the Teknor Apex-4006-25 Zero-G hose has exceeded my expectations. It's durable, lightweight, and incredibly easy to use. This hose failed within three months. We used it through the summer season (June-August) and it began leaking from the fittings on both ends. It was used properly and the water pressure was never high. There is no way to reach out to the company aside from a form on their website, which they never respond to. Beware - they do not stick by their products. This hose seemed like decent quality until it wasn't.

Whatever your application this hose is great. I use it with my 5th Wheel RV as the water hose. It deploys instantly and you can gather it up just as quickly. No taste or odor added to the water. The 50' hose stores in a large cottage cheese container and saves tremendous space which is vital in an RV. I've used it all summer and I see no sun fade. I wouldn't advise using it as an escape rope from a building, but I would imagine it would work. For water to the RV, this can't be beat by anything at any price, and even the price is very reasonable. You don't often find a great product for the RV with a great price. If you have a boat, same recommendation. With these hoses I can carry enough hose length to reach 200' in the same space required by a 20' conventional hose. For campgrounds where there isn't water at each site, this hose gets me water most of the time without movving the rig or carrying water. Great buy and great price.

Bought one of these in 2019 and it’s lasted all the way until May of this year. The only reason I’m getting a new one is the buildup of deposits on the end that goes into the Rv is making it difficult to connect which probably would have happened with any hose. It’s a perfect travel hose can fit it into really small spaces which is a major selling point for us. Works great in cooler weather doesn’t stiffen up and make it a pain too store underneath the Rv. Keeps its shape after hooking up. All in all would definitely recommend this hose, would never go back to the regular kind again.

I own 2 of these hoses, one is 6 years old and has been great, held up well and is super easy to handle. Only issue is it develops a black layer of build up inside, not sure what it is, that breaks off and flows out in small pieces. pretty annoying when trying to fill a hot tub. Might be my water quality???

This brand of hose (Zero-G) is fantastic. They are so light, smaller, and easier to roll up than a traditional hose. They have multiple colors and sizes. The blue hose is only 1/2" so not the same water volume as a traditional 5/8" but purchased because needed a different color hose to distinguish from the 5/8" zero-g gray hoses we already have. If you hate to hand water because you hate rolling up your traditional garden hose, try this brand. Get the diameter you need which is based on color.

Not sure what has happened, but I have tried 3 times to get one of these that does not leak (two 50' and one 25'). All 3 have leaked at the metal ends. the leaks are either where the hose connects to the metal or the connection of that to the threaded ends. I know people with older versions just love them but either these are counterfeit or the quality control for this company is shot. The company says these are rated to 600psi. The leaks are happening at 75psi. If I lower the psi down to 55psi I was able to get the leaks to stop but my trust in this product is zero. Also the connection at the male end is very narrow and hard to tighten with our bare hands. It is a completely different design from what they use on their garden hoses. Not sure why that is but this design leaves very little room for you to use your hands to tighten and almost certainly requires a set of pliers to hold while you tighten the attachment or RV to it.

Love this hose, easy to use, easy to fold up and put away, not even using the white hoses anymore, they were awful for kinking, hard to put away etc, etc, totally worth it I even bought another one to have, Highly recommend

Hose is only 3/8”,both ends leaked right away,not a good hose

Well, the first time I used it was great, worked as it should. Second time started to leak. Of course now the Amazon return period is over. Contacted product support and was told to send the product back for repair as they do not replace defective products. Great, now I must spend another $25.00 for shipping, wait for them “fix” it and hope the product would work as IT SHOULD HAVE from the beginning. Never buying this again.

This is an awesome product. Can fit the whole hose in a small bucket for transport and storage. Seems to last, had it for a couple of years now.
