Works Well
I wanted to switch from using my Desktop PC with dual displays to my Macbook Pro instead and this works a treat. It feels nicely built and matches the Macbook well and the vertical docking frees up desk space. If you're going to use it this way, it's worth checking what inputs your screens have and buying the right cables. My screens have DisplayPort inputs (as well as all the others) so I needed to buy a couple of Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort leads as the Henge outputs are the same as the Macbook Pro, i.e. two Mini DisplayPort, USB and headphones. The headphone output doesn't seem to allow me to use my Apple headphones with Mic as well so I'll need a work around for that.I have read that some people have had WiFi issues but I haven't noticed any loss in performance.

Surely this was made my apple...
As if it wasn't made my apple. It is built as good as an apple product would be, it looks amazing with the metal colour matching the macbooks colour as well. The macbook fits into the dock well, a small amount of wiggle room (i would assume cooling). The cables that come with it are as good as extension cables are, they dont feel cheap and will break easily but feel they may last a while. What i do love about this, is it enables me to close my macbooks lid and then plug it in and immediately start working with a bigger screen and have all my drives plugged in, it is the best plug and play apple dock out there!

Brilliant and stylish
Excellent product. The build quality is superb. Quite a few people have commented on "That stylish dock". The only complaint is I cannot seem to get the WiFi working whilst in the dock. Not a big issue as I use wired ethernet most of the time.

Blew 2 Macbook power supplies
An awesome looking product and i was very happy with it untill it shorted 2 macbook power supplies in the space of minutes - it was not just the power block, or the fuse, but both. I was forced to buy a third supply due to work timeframes and plugged directly into the laptop, which has been fine since. Won't be buying again.

It works, I suppose
I bought a second hand one - I think if I'd paid full price I would have been disappointed. It's effectively just a base with some holes for cables to sit in. It does the job though...almost.I have a 2008 Cinema Display (which has a MagSafe 1 power connector). The Henge website states that it would be compatible. After struggling for an hour with "Adapter E" and a MagSafe 2 converter, lots of swearing and questioning of whether Henge tested this product at all, I found a small forum post on their website where in small writing it states that the 2008 MagSafe power connector is in fact not compatible. 2009 MagSafe onwards is OK though it seems. The solution for me will be to buy another power cable (which is ~£80). It defeats the point of having a dock if, to take your laptop away from your desk, you have to dismantle the dock to remove the power cable so owning 2 cables is the only option. If there was any alternative uprights docks I would return this and try a competitor. The Henge dock is the only option though so I'll stick with it. I'm not overjoyed with this product though.

Revolutionised my office
This has revolutionised my office! No longer do I need to keep plugging cables into my mac to use my external monitors, and I have no trailing cables. My workspace is so much clearer. The only downside is that you need to fix the Mac power cable into the dock, which is a pain to keep removing if you are going to be away from your office when the mac may need charging. If this is the case you will be better off buying a separate charger. The dock itself is solid and in the same aluminium as the mac case, the supplied extension cables are very well made too.

Works well, however not that done times the MacBook ...
Works well, however read the MacBook Pro (2013) can over heat in clam mode, however could be a setting I had missed. - 6 months on my MBP is still over heating if left on over night, the next morning the fans are going wild.. Think it's due to a design issue, it really could do with vent holes matching the MBP.. the power supply is right at the bottom and the MBP vents are covered by the stand. I might have to drill my own :(

Lovely looking product - but ensure the cable clamps are tight
Like this product - it looks nice and doesn't detract from the brushed aluminium finish of the MacBook.I have had no problems with changing cables as some reviewers have found but since I purchased it a few months ago, I have twice had to loosen and re-tighten the power cable and USB clamps. It is probably worth ensuring all the cable clamps that are already installed are tight before using for the first time.
