Great replacement WiFi and Bluetooth card for my Dell XPS 15 9550
I bought this to upgrade my XPS 15's dodgy Dell Wireless 1830 card, which often gave BSoDs due to the poorly written Broadcom driver for the card. Installation of this card was straightforward - popping off the old one and connecting this up. I connected the grey antenna cable to the black (MAIN 2) connector on this card, and the white antenna cable to the white (AUX 1) connector on this one (the black I managed to break while getting it off my DW1830, oops! It came off connected to its socket on the DW1830 card!), but it really didn't seem to matter which way round they went in.Would strongly recommend installing the drivers from the intel website BEFORE installing the card, or you might be left with no WiFi to download drivers with after the card is in! Wifi speeds with this card are very fast however, I reached about 261Mbps down on 5GHz.The bluetooth gave me a few issues - although the drivers were installed correctly, I was getting a device error in device manager on the bluetooth chip, failing to respond and all that. I figured out that uninstalling the device and rescanning for hardware changes added two more bluetooth devices onto the system (Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator) and no more yellow warning triangle next to the Intel Wireless Bluetooth device. Unfortunately this disappeared upon reboot, so I figured out that I could set up a task using task scheduler (comes with windows) to run with elevated permissions when I log in to run a script that uses devcon.exe (you can find this online easily) to uninstall the bluetooth device from the system and rescan for hardware changes, and it works like a charm! This survives sleep mode and hibernate mode and bluetooth works perfectly thereafter until the computer is powered down properly. And then when I turn it on again next time and log in, my task runs and fixes my bluetooth for me! Just sharing in case it helps anyone else.Overall, 10/10 would recommend replacing your wifi card with this one, works very well, but do be careful when extracting the antenna connectors from your old card as they are tiny and can be very fragile! :)

Much better than my laptop's original card.
My laptop had a Realtek based WiFi card installer from the factory. The card was terrible and dropped out constantly. Using VOIP applications was impossible as the latency would spike to over 3000ms and the packet loss was over 70% at times. This Intel card has fixed all my woes instantly. It has a high throughput, low latency and very good connection quality (no packet loss). I'd expect no less from a company that has prided itself in its mobile technology package since the launch of its original Centrino products (in 2003).It was fairly easy to install for someone with tech build/repair experience. M.2 cards are held in with just a single screw. The antenna cables were quick and easy to connect but did need some very small pliers as the connectors are tiny.I would wholeheartedly recommend this as a replacement for poor quality or failed cards from other manufacturers.

Completely resurrected my Dell computer
Bought Dell XPS 15 mark 2 and it kept crashing and didn't do Bluetooth and WiFi reliably. On line gurus suggested the Killer WiFi card might be the reason. So using a Torx T5 X 40 screwdriver, and following instructions on UTube, I removed the bottom plate on the Dell, swapped the Killer WiFi microboard out with the Intel two months ago and the computer has worked flawlessly ever since with excellent WiFi (and Bluetooth) function. Potential problems are don't buy a feeble screwdriver with a soft metal head as it will tear, don't over tighten the screws on replacement as they will tear, be very carefully with un popping and re popping the two aerial connectors (they are just friction pop on pop off buttons as for clothes but small and tight and require a tiny tweezer to pull off and a small plier to pop onto the new card, white to white and black to black (mine was the opposite sides to the Killer card but did work switching to make this color matched connection). All in all took me circa 15 minutes from start to finish.

Good upgrade for your laptop if compatible. Mine came without any packaging, just wrapped in bubble wrap.
Purchased this as a replacement for my Acer Aspire V15 Nitro Black Edition VN7-591g and it worked like a charm. The WiFi speed seems somewhat better than the previous Qualcomm card I had. Drivers were downloaded automatically by Windows 10 (I was connected via ethernet) and I have tested the drivers you get from Intel's website as well. Range does not seem to be much different than the previous card, however I am using the same internal WiFi antennas therefore I can't expect a change in wireless range. This small module has Bluetooth 4.2 integrated, MU-MIMO and supports 80MHz channels.Have not used it for long (less then a day) but I will update my review if anything changes. The only gripe I have about this is how it arrived, hence why I only gave it one star. It came in the usual Amazon cardboard envelope but inside this the module was in an unsealed bubble wrap bag. No other wrapping whatsoever which makes me believe this might not be new (although it was bought as new). Also does not leave much protection for it. Previously bought WiFi modules usually came in a small plastic package which offered some protection.

Perfect wifi upgrade for Dell all-in-one pc
My inspiron 23 5348 came with an early intel AC wifi card (3160) that had terrible speed - the most I got with an Internet speed test was just over 20Mb/s when my full line speed is 50 and I can get that with my laptop in the same location.Wasn't sure if this would work as had read conflicting reports but took a chance for £20. I made sure I uninstalled all wifi and Bluetooth drivers and uninstalled the devices in device manager before powering down and replacing the wifi card with this one. Powered back up, I stalled the new drivers and hey presto - internet speed test now running at 50Mb/s, the same as everything else :)Now I can stream video without hiccups or buffering, so much cheaper than replacing the PC!!
