PURESOUND Super 30 Series Snare Wire - Snare Drum Wires - Drum Wire - S1430 - 30 Strand - 14 Inch

I was sceptical how much difference Puresound really make until now. These snares are full on buzztastic. Even though they do have 30 strands they don't buzz sympathetically with other noises like my old wires and they definitely are sensitive. Just so you know I have put these on my 14x5.5 or 5.5x14 (if you are from the US) maple Craviotto and it is amazing. The only thing I will say is that you can't get the same sort of rim shots you do from fewer wire model but it's the nature of the beast and ghost notes are out of this world no matter what the dynamics. I will definitely be getting the Puresound twisted model as well.

PureSound init. I love these snare wires. I have used them on a 13 1/2" 1924 vintage Hawkes Snapper, a 14" x 4" Vic O' Brian, a Beverley COB 21, a 12 lug Niles Slingerland COW, a Olympic 14" x 5 1/2" woody (DW eat your heart out) and a 10" x 5" Stinger.

This has enhanced the sound of my Ludwig Black Beauty Supra-Phonic Snare Drum to another level.

Not to sure about the attachment cable, its a little tricky to fit into the location holder on the snare but appears to be holding fine well worth the price
