Really good and easy to use, although much easier if there’s two of you it is still possible to do it on your own. I’m funny with needles so had my husband do the finger prick on me and I did the rest. It’s best to get everything set up to go before you start, make sure to follow instructions properly and you’ll have no trouble. Only one drop of water from the pipette on each circle and don’t swirl it until it says to. My husband had plenty of blood but my finger stopped bleeding very quickly, so I really had to push down on it to get enough. When you have to tilt the card you think the blood is going to run everywhere but it doesn’t, it stays within its confines. Extremely easy to use and read, and has answered for me and my husband our lifelong mysteries of our blood types! Really happy, especially with the price of it.

I ordered this product because my child gave blood and their blood group did not match what we believed they should be. (Both my parents are AB+ and child came up as O+) the kit matched what the donor centre said so I made both my parents test and it turns out my dad is actually B+ (like me!) while my mum is AB+ so it’s perfectly possible for me to have an O allele which now makes my child’s blood group make sense. Have tested another child who is also O+ so waiting to find out with the rest of my children as until now, we all thought we were B+ given what we believed of my parents groups. Has put my mind at rest and a lot cheaper than the private clinics. My sister did same with hers and the known groups showed correctly so I’m happy to recommend this kit for anyone wanting to know.

I followed the instructions and didn't get a result , very disappointed

This was really easy to use. I scanned the QR code on the back of the pack. It takes you to their website.It offers a few different videos according to language spoken.I followed the instructions and it was all done in a couple of minutes.Water droplet added using the little pipette and then used the lancet tool. I made sure my hands were clean as well as using the alcohol wipe beforehand.If you make sure you're hands are warm, or it's warmer weather it's much easier to get the amount of blood needed for the sticks.As you can see from the photo, a conclusive result of O+!I think my family are now going to buy their own kits to check their blood groups!It's a fantastic little kit, to find out quite important information. Highly recommended!

Having a conversation with a friend about blood types, and because she knew her blood type and that of her family, she assumed everyone knew theirs and was a common thing, however turns out noone else did either!Decided to get one of these to do not for any particular reason, but just to see what it would say.Arrived in sealed packaging with all included bits and bobs needed. I have a thing about needles so had to get my friend to prick me with the lancet and drip my blood as couldn't bring myself to do it myself, but once it was done it wasn't so bad. My mother thought I would be an O or an A type as she is O but wasn't sure of my fathers blood group. According to the test im A+ so seems fairly accurate, but obviously don't rely on it 100% for medical situations.Slight downside is we didnt give it enough time to dry before putting the sticky plastic over it, and it managed to turn on its side in my locker so dripped blood and ruined the results and had to throw away.

It works. Was able to get my vlood type within minutes. The important things are to read the instructions properly and to not cross-contaminate the stuff inside the little circles. Remember to add your drop of water to each circle as well. Just one drop. The finger prick device worked very well for me. Remember to shake or swing your arm and to rub the arm and finger/hands first to get blood flowing properly and to warm hands up by rubbing which also helps blood flow. Then press the device firmly to finger before pressing the button. Pic shows 2 lancets but my kit came with only one and in a diff shape. It worked fine but just in case it fails or you accidentally deploy it, have a sterile needle ready just in case. My lancet worked a bit too well and an extra drop nearly ruined my eldron card so make sure you have a tissue handy just in case. R3sults were easy enough to reads. Expiry date on mine was October 2026. Good kit. I finally know my blood type.

Make sure you read instructions carefully before beginning as you have to work reasonably fast when you begin. The link to a video is useful too.I needed to use a second Lancet on a second finger (which I had for glucose testing) to get enough blood onto the sticks.The results are not easy to interpret as the illustrations are much more graphic than the actual results. I ran a photo through 2 different AI programmes which both gave the same interpretation... which agreed with my best attempt at interpreting, so I'm satisfied I got a result.

I want to do my children's blood groups but wanted to make sure the test was accurate first..I'm B positive and the test did show that. It was very easy to use and a very fast result. Just follow the instructions properly and you will get a result in less than a minute . I have now purchased my children's test.
