Quality product - Perfect first time
Having recently started eating much healthier I had a few poached eggs eating out, I wanted to see what I could do by myself. At first I tried doing the water vortex technique which is by far the best way to poach an egg, but when I wanted more than one it became a little troublesome as they come into contact and don't hold their shape as well so I thought I'd give these a go. I'm glad I did - First use it worked instantly and I had lovely poached eggs. They are a little big in my opinion so you do need to use a bigger saucepan that expected but overall they allow you to do two at a time which for me is all I wanted. They couldn't be easier to use, simply wash them before use as you should do with anything new. Plop them in a saucepan, fill the water to the line marked on the funnel. Get the water to a rolling boil (where it is just about bubbling - make sure its not overly boiling, you just want a light boil), and drop the eggs into the funnel. It then falls them into the below chamber where the water can surround them but keeps them in place. Follow the instructions on the little guide that comes with these and you'll be eating poached eggs which are done perfectly!

Low heat
Great product. I've never mastered the art of poaching eggs but this product works well. As others have said is best for cooking one egg at a time unless a large pan. The poacher has a water level mark so make sure the pan has enough water to go up to the mark. My cooking tips are to make sure the water is barely simmering with little bubbles and not boiling. Add a few drops of white vinegar to the water before you put the egg in. Make sure you don't knock the poacher whilst dropping the egg in (it goes through the hole and into the bottom of the poacher) if you move the poacher before the white has had time to set it will escape. For a runny yoke and set white whilst cooking one large supermarket egg it needs about 3 mins 45 seconds. Once the time is up lift out the poacher and then use a slotted spoon to remove the egg. Place egg on kitchen paper to remove excess water briefly then serve. Very easy to clean just rinse.

Don’t rest on the pan
Larger than I expected but great for omelette flipping. Only thing to fault is the handle isn’t as heat proof as the rest of it & where I have rested the spatula on the edge of the pan it has left marks

Perfect every time !
Brilliant !! Pan needs to be full of water up to the joint in the poacher, so quite deep. and you need a big pan if you are doing more than 2 at a time. Water needs to be at a low rolling boil, crack the egg and drop in the top, 3 minutes on the timer, lift the poacher out of the water and lift the egg out. I'm no cook and these have been perfect every time so far 10/10

Oxo silicone turner
Wish item handle was longer, but head is wide enough and soft tip protects the pan whilst assisting in flipping items.

Ok gadget that works
Easy to use but I don't think they add anything to the process. They are too large to fit both in the pan at once so you might as well just swirl the water and drop in the egg and save on washing up. If you have difficulty in making poached eggs the traditional way then these will help form a neat egg

Huge!
Watch out these are huge! Ok if you want to cook one egg, but if you want to cook 4 you will need a big pan

Handy to have ....
Very happy with this although I use it for turning omelettes as well as pancakes. No more broken ones, so in that way its good value for money. Seems sturdy enough and a decent weight for comfort of use.

I thought I already knew how to poach eggs without difficulty, but this product makes it super easy. I break an egg in a water glass, and I recommend adding a tad of vinegar to the egg in the glass before you put the egg in the egg hopper. This will easily hold your white together. Three minutes in boiling water, and you'll have a perfectly poached egg. Enjoy!

Below this update is my original review. I have to update from two stars to FIVE!! My original spatula split after 6 weeks, BUT, the company replaced it quickly AND the new one has lasted four years. It is still going strong; however, after four years, I am afraid it may give out, and I use it several times a day. Eggs for breakfast and flipping other foods for our main meal. So I plan to order another one just like it. I just noticed that the price has actually gone DOWN since my original purchase. How ironic is that? See original review for other details about this fabulous spatula. I have to update my review. I still LOVE the spatula. it is absolutely perfect for my needs; HOWEVER, after about 6 weeks of use, the plastic has split and the metal is coming through. It is a bit expensive to only last for 6 weeks. Wish I knew how to contact the manufacturer. I have a really hard time understanding the bad reviews. Yes, it is big. The dimensions are given in the description. Even though it is large, I can use it in all but my very smallest skillet (one egg size). I love it. I have only had it a few weeks, but I have used it at least a dozen times - omelettes, chicken, vegetables. It has not stuck to anything; in fact, nothing has really stuck to it either (except maybe uncooked egg). Today, I went back and forth, using it in my electric skillet and in my frying pan on the stove. The breaded squash did not stick to it. I LIKE the large size. It makes it so much easier and faster to turn frying foods. It is slightly flexible - it needs to be. But it is not so flexible that it bends down. The front edge is very thin, making it easier to slide under foods. Thanks to it being heat resistant, I can leave it in the pan while cooking. So far, I have found nothing to dislike about it. I may even order another one.

These things are magical!! Poached eggs are by far my favorite, I have a Dash steamer and although it makes amazing hard boiled eggs the poached (steamed in this case) is just so-so. I don’t have the knack for dropping the egg directly in the water as it tends to fall apart on me. I love these because I don’t have to separate the loose egg white, I can drop the whole egg in and it’s perfect every time. They are bigger than I expected, but that does not bother me at all.
