When folded it’s relatively compact (fits in my backpack) i’d Say about 12” x3”x3” from memory (I am traveling so can’t measure for you) very handy. I recommend it

Has anybody tried this stand with an Ovation deep bowl guitar?

I haven't but it works well with a my jumbo size guitar
