It fits into the Bruder 3570 crane truck. I had bought this construction worker together with the crane truck for my 4 year old son.

Does his hat come off and can it be placed on the heads of other Bruder figures?

Yes hat comes off and visor and can fit on other Bruder construction workers.

Does this figure fit into the bruder 02432 schaeff mini excavator hr 16

It fits in most vehicles but we haven't an excavator. The tools are very small and get lost easily though

Bought for my little nephews upcoming birthday so not yet used however he has other figures and vehicles in the range which are excellent and this appears the same - He particularly loves the fact that the jointed limbs mean the figures fit in the vehicles properly - Good value competed to similar ranges

Lovely, but tools are slightly temperamental

Love this for my nephew however some of the pieces (tools) have broken after a short amount of time but that doesn’t take away the fact the man is perfect for my nephew !
