Phlebotomy Notes: Pocket Guide to Blood Collection (Davis's Notes)

Love this book! While doing my externship this book was recommended to me. I am very glad that I ordered it. It includes labs and the corresponding tube colors which is something I needed. It is wipeable and will fit in the pocket of my scrubs. I have already recommended it to the other students who were in class with me.

This mini pocket guide includes everything you need to know about exam. I am only studying this book and Phlebotomy flash cards for the exam. I had just taken one phlebotomy review class from my college and after that when I got these two items for study, I saw it includes everything which the teacher at review class told us to study!

I recieved my pocket guide today. I must say, it is a little smaller than I expected. It fits in my hand and I have small hands. Lol. But honestly, I love that it's that small. I can fit it in my scrubs perfectly. I had a "pocket" guide for another subject and it was a tight fit in my scrub and it stuck out which was always in my way so, I'd put it in my leg pocket. I wish that one was as small as this phlebotomy one. The price wasn't too bad. The material covered seems to be good, I only skimmed thru. So, I'll know more how useful it'll be for me. But so. Far so good. The only thing that would make it better is if the pages were on a more sturdier paper that would last longer. I feel that the pages can easily bend. But overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

The pocket guide is extremely useful - I will not lie but I thought it was going to be a tad bit larger; it is like one of those small spiral notebooks that old-school reports use in movies. Haha - do not let the size fool you, it is full of useful information. I am in a Medical Lab Tech course and phlebotomy is one of the subjects that is covered - so having this guide is useful.

I am a medical assistant student and this has been very beneficial! It has a lot of information, with step-by-step instructions with pictures. This is essential if you will be doing any phlebotomy of any kind. I have posted pictures, because I didn't like how little of a preview there is of the book.

I ordered this for my phlebotomy class and everyone in the class decided to order one too. This little pocket guide is perfect. It even includes things we did not learn in class. Nice size, sturdy material and arrived in one day with amazon one day service. You can't go wrong with this guide.

This book is good for reference. The only concern is the print is small so if you wear glasses make sure you have them with you.
