These are absolutely fantastic. It's sometimes the case that the simple and cheap solution is just the best and that's so true in this case.The hooks simply slip over the shower rail (probably up to a good few cm thick too) and then they clip together through the eyelet in the curtain. A simple push and they snap together firmly and you're good to go. It took me about 3 minutes to put up an extra long curtain as these are just so simple to use.They're made from plastic so the don't squeak (thank goodness!) and slide completely freely over our metal rail. They're also very robust and I reckon ours will last years.Personally I think they look pretty good to boot and I'll be recommending them to friends/family.There are better things to worry about in life than shower curtain rings so just get these safe in the knowledge they work perfectly and will last ages.

Curtain rings for shower curtain were to replace some missing ones as the original ones tend to break quite easily; these new ones appear to be much stronger, same shape and hopefully will last longer in any case I would by more from this seller as they are exactly what I needed.

But is not actually chrome, it's chrome finish but made of plastic, my bad for not reading the listing enough. It wasn't what I was looking for but still works as intended. Weight is light, might not be suitable for a heavy shower curtain.

I wish I'd known about these rings before I purchased the ridiculously expensive ones that were supposed to go with the rail I purchased from a well-known bathroom supplier. The shape of the originals meant they just wouldn't glide on the rail and the only way to use the curtain was to move the rings one at a time. First world problems but life is hard enough without that rigmarole every morning. These are brilliant. Had them switched over in minutes and they whizz along the rail like there's no tomorrow. At a third of the price too. Delighted!!

I'm happy with my purchase. Please note - this review is for the 'clear' rings. I see that some reviewers report problems with the 'chrome' version, and there may well be a problem with those.I've used these for a year. They do the job. They haven't broken, have never come off, slide smoothly, have never caused any problems.To hang the curtains, I pushed one end of the ring through a hole, and then I pushed the opening of the ring over the top of the shower curtain rail. It just fitted over the thin top of the rail, and once hanging, the opening of the ring faces the broad front of the curtain rail, so it can't fall off.I'm using them with these curtains.
