I use this mask every 3-4 months on my white hair. I leave it on for about 20 minutes as I want to have a blue/purple colour. In between I use Fanola No Yellow shampoo to keep the colour going. I cannot tell you how many compliments I have received. Strangers come up to me in the street to say how lovely my hair looks; young and older men, young and older women. It makes me feel so good and boosts my confidence. If anyone is scared of going white then use this - it'll change your life!

I thought I was buying the shampoo (I didn't read it properly!) I am pleased I bought the mask instead, the shampoos can be quite drying. Fantastic value, this bottle is going to last years...So far I have used it twice, each time for a maximum of 3 minutes and with noticeable results! I was asked if I'd lightened my hair, it's left my blonde very cool toned, and with no drying effect! I've found it more effective then the Bleach London or Silver Shampoo I'd used previously, the pigment looks blue rather than purple- whatever, it works!I read some people had experienced staining on their hands from using this, I was careful to wash my hands right away and I haven't experienced any staining so far.

Has been effective but difficult to rinse off leaving hair with purple tinge once dry and having to re wash with normal shampoo. Has stained shower curtains and exfoliating gloves so bit messy

I love this product!Yes, it’s blue not purple. Yes, it doesn’t smell the greatest (it smells a bit like old Christmas decorations, could be cloves?!?). Yes, it looks like I’ve murdered a Smurf in my shower when I use it.But also;Yes, it eliminates any brassiness in my bleached hair. Yes, it leaves my hair soft and manageable. Yes, it’s an amazing product that I don’t think I could be without!I use this after washing my hair with my normal shampoo, as my hands are wet when I use it I’ve not had it dye my skin as others have mentioned. It also doesn’t make the very porous ends of my hair purple/blue like other products I’ve used, it just gets rid of the yellow tones. And as for the murdered Smurf, it’s easy to rinse down with the shower hose so no-one would ever know ;)In all seriousness though, this is a great product and I’d recommend it.

I used this for a different purpose than most - I have light purple hair and wanted to remove some of the slight banding that could be seen. I left the shampoo in my hair which i applied to dry hair - for around an hour - i then washed and dried my hair and applied the mask. The mask i also left on for around an hour and once dried my hair was a nice even lilac. Bearing in mind my purple hair had faded significantly it refreshed it so i could prolong time before dying. Great product! As long as my hair is purple i will be using this!

100% recommend this product.I’ve bleached my hair in preparation for dying it silver grey and wanted to reduce the warmth and yellow tones. I used this after washing my hair with the shampoo from the same range.Apply whilst wearing gloves and wipe down surfaces it touches. It will mark towels but the blue comes out in the wash. It comes out dark blue and is easy to spread evenly through your hair. I left it on for longer than suggested - about 30-45mins and it significantly reduced the yellow tones in my hair. It also left my hair feeling softer and conditioned.
